Cabane récemment rénovée dans les bois avec cheminée et murales

Ceci est une cabine d'environ 650 pieds carrés (mol) qui a été récemment rénové. Il vient d'installer du parquet en stratifié, un décor texan, un tout nouvel ensemble de matelas queen, une superbe peinture murale à l'arrière de la cabine (superbe service photo) et bien plus encore. Il y a un mini-réfrigérateur, une cuisinière, un four à micro-ondes, une cafetière K-cup ... tout le confort de la maison, y compris des jeux de société dans le placard et un plateau tournant dans le salon! Voir les images ... les mots ne feront pas justice. À l'extérieur de la cabine, il y a un foyer tout neuf (une autre superbe séance photo). Cette cabane dans les bois vous donnera l'impression d'être à des kilomètres de la civilisation, mais à 2 kilomètres des célèbres journées du commerce mondial.
Bien que nous n'énumérions qu'un minimum d'une nuit, il y a un minimum de deux nuits pendant les journées du commerce de Canton (du mercredi soir au dimanche soir de cette semaine).
Il peut accueillir confortablement 2 personnes mais il y a suffisamment de place pour 4 personnes. Cependant, les invités 3 et 4 seront sur un matelas gonflable. Nous allons fournir un matelas queen.
ENFIN, cette propriété n'est pas accessible aux handicapés. Divulgation complète, il a quatre étapes assez raides jusqu'au porche (à nouveau, voir les photos). Une fois à l'intérieur, le niveau est assez accessible, mais veuillez en prendre note si vous ou un membre de votre groupe êtes en fauteuil roulant ou avez de la difficulté à négocier les escaliers.

This is the BEST place to stay if you're going to visit Canton or are just passing through. It's convenient to downtown and the Canton trade days but gives you the feel you are secluded in the woods. It's small, yet charming and cozy, just enough space to not feel overcrowded. There were 3 of us who stayed and we had plenty of room for all our stuff (3 women on a weekend trip to Canton trade days). We will definitely stay here again when we come back. 10/10 from the host, property and location, it was PERFECT!!

Great hidden gem!

Location was great for Canton Trade Days. Easy access to the main road and travel up the road to the market. Owners were friendly and readily accessible when needed.

Lone Star cabin

I wish I was as creative as the owners. The whole property is just decorated so cute. The cabins have everything you need and the owners/managers are so very nice! I don’t want to stay anywhere else in Canton.

This place was perfect for us. Just a bit our of town where we could hear the birds & not town sounds. The hosts were amazing & "schooled" us on trade days! Such a perk for the next days adventures. Need more time here to unwind & have fun. Will definitely book here again it was so easy to find everything & they provided so much! Felt like home & that we weren't just numbers like at a large chain hotel.

Loved the property. Hidden right off the highway behind a privacy fence, the little cabins were nestled in the space with outdoor yard figures like a giant bull and mantis. For December, it was decorated for the holidays which gave it an extra bit of charm. So close to trade days (if thats what you are looking for) and other amenities. Inside, it's rustic decor with a very cozy and homey feeling. I would recommend anyone to stay. We plan to make a trip again next year!

Great Location!

Owner was so easy to work with. We had to cancel at the last minute due to an unexpected death in the family. He did not hesitate to offer us an opportunity to reschedule rather than lose our money. Cabin was so clean and cute! Only 2 miles from Trade Days! Bed was really comfy and we slept great!

A peaceful/funky/woodsy gem!

We loved staying in this adorable, funky Texas cabin for our Canton stay. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, comfortable and well taken care of. The decor and grounds are whimsical (great photo ops abound!) and well maintained. It’s hard to believe this peaceful getaway is located literally on the highway, only two miles from Trade Days. We appreciated “above and beyond” things the hosts did like starting a fire, providing books, videos, and LPs, bottled water, coffee and more. We also were impressed to find skewers and a lighter thoughtfully placed near the lovely fire pit area. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved design details like the ice pick holding the kitchen towel/oven mitts, and the old-timey handle water pump that actually works! The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was cozy and warm. We could park right in front, with only a few steps to bring in our luggage. This is literally the perfect place for a Canton getaway!!

The Lone Star deserves TWO Stars

Rust came out of the bathroom water faucet. The air conditioner in the bedroom sounded like a lawn mower. There were no wash rags and only one fork. The medicine cabinet could not open because the light fixture was in the way. It's easy to stump your toe on the elevated portion of the Barstool seating. I did it twice my wife once. The bed is so close to the wall that you can barely get out and it won't move. We had to get a barbecue grill from an unused cabin because ours was in such disrepair it could not be used.And don't be spooked when you open the bedroom closet, there's a a Grinch in a Christmas tree in there! It's my opinion that the owners think you will be impressed with all their stuff that they have everywhere and you will overlook the necessities. This place was just not our cup of tea. However the grounds and cabin were clean.

Sorry you were so disappointed. Our 5 star rating says others disagree But let me address some specifics...1) re: the forks...things disappear over time...when you called to ask for forks, were we not over in a matter of minutes? Also, when you said you were cooking, did I not ask if there was anything else you needed? 2) The Grinch in the closet is Christmas decor...I'm not even sure why you mentioned it? 3) Y'all stubbing your toe shouldn't really be a reason to give me less stars, should it? 4) often older houses will have a bit of rust come out of the faucet when you initially turn the water on if it hasn't been used in a while. It would have been nice to clarify that it wasn't running out rusty continuously. 5) not sure what you needed in the medicine cabinet but actually, it doesn't open because it is just a mirror. 6) the window unit in the bedroom is no louder than any other window unit. 7) again, did we not communicate that we live on the property and are available basically 24/7? If you needed anything or had any issues you could have communicated them at the time. Also, leading with the positives would have been nice. Again, sorry it wasn't "your cup of tea," but we take pride in our property and providing and unique and pleasant experience and our 5 star rating shows that others have truly enjoyed our place. As owners who actually live on the property and try to curate a cool experience, i think we go above and beyond...

Perfect location

This rustic cabin was a great place to stay after a long day of shopping. It’s not new or modern but my daughter and I appreciated the cozy and quirky vibe. This only suggestion I have is adding a blind or curtain to the front two windows. But that’s just because I am a “shut your blinds at night” kind of person. It is private property and I’m sure others may not even give a second thought about this. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: Felt safe Parking Fire pit and grill provided Cute concept Nicely decorated Comfortable living area Small faux fireplace nice addition Easy Check-in Games, good DVD selection, entertaining /informative books Helpful area information Recliner in bedroom and areas to place suitcases Cons: Traffic noise - backs up to highway, with only a fence in between Bed - uncomfortable and polyester sheets Bathroom - water very difficult to turn off enough to stop loud dripping; almost nowhere to place personal items Kitchen - snacks provided were minimal and stale; faucet like in bathroom; could have been cleaner Heating - difficult to regulate temperature, with no thermostat Electrical - light switches randomly placed, some high up on walls; smoke alarm appeared inoperative Record player - great idea, but we could not get it to work Internet - spotty at best, worked marginally on Thursday (were there for trade days) but Friday no internet at all Overall: For us, the cons on important issues (like bed, internet, temperature regulation, and noise level) outweighed the pros, so we will not return.

Sorry that our cabin wasn't to your expectations, however, most people love our "execution." We have no control over where light switches were placed when the cabin was built years ago. The faucets are NOT dirty. They are rustic, as that is part of our repurposed decor. Sorry about the road noise, but we just constructed an 8-foot privacy fence to reduce noise. Most people are happy with the close proximity to trade days. The record player is brand new and I own a record and audio shop, so clearly that was just operator error on your part. You criticize the snacks as stale, but they weren't. They were also just purchased and really that is just a little something exta we do for our guests. I have stayed at Four Seasons to Holiday Inns to Motel 6 to rustic cabins and never gotten snacks included in the price of my room. Usually coffee only and MAYBE a water. As far as the internet, we have explained in previous reviews and I told y'all, Canton is a rural area with mediocre internet at best. When a town of 3500 is inundated with 100,00-200,000, the internet is going to be negatively affected. This is why we have a good DVD selection, many books, and board games. This is something that is absolutely out of our control and why we provide other entertainment to compensate. Anyway, thank you again for staying with us and sorry that it wasn't everything you expected.
