A very enjoyable stay overall, the house was very clean and tidy and had all the features promised. Reno who looks after the house was great at communicating and was really helpful and friendly throughout.A beautiful location, house and very comfortable beds, we especially loved the outside eating area, very nicely done.

Beautiful

We had an unforgettable and lovely week in this beautiful setting,10 minutes by car outside of Cotignac. The cosy home provided us with all we needed for a relaxing week by the pool: Great kitchen and bath, good beds, and lots of space for meals and games together - as well as quiet moments with a book. We travelled with two teenagers and wouldn‘t hesitate to book this place again if possible.

Beautiful place (apart from the road)

This is a lovely house situated next to a picturesque vineyard. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers lots to do, from wine-tasting at the many vineyards to cycling down the quiet lanes surrounding Cotingnac. The house was as described, and it didn’t disappoint. Well decorated, cosy, with a beautiful pool. The only big problem for us was that the house is situated next to a fast (and loud) road, which can clearly be heard from both inside the house and particularly the garden/pool area. We think we were unlucky and that our week coincided with a local motorbike gathering of some sort, and so the noise was especially bad. We actually ended up leaving a few days early due to the noise. As I said, other than the road, it’s a beautiful place for a holiday.

Needs upkeep

Property needs to be dehumidified (first few nights were spent in damp sheets), aired out and need to be taking care of by a professional. Upon arrival, the house was dirty and we ended up spending a few hours cleaning floors and furniture as well as getting rid of all the huge spiderwebs (obviously there for a while). The grounds also needed attention. The first time and only time we saw the property manager was 10 days after our arrival. All instructions were given to me over the phone about how to handle the issues we encountered during our one month stay, like water and gas problems and fixing the pool water level. We were also asked to go purchase a new coffee maker and toaster because they were not working and the property manager was unavailable.On the other hand, the house was very pretty; it just needs a lot of TLC.

Des vacances dans un emplacement qui appelle au repos et à la relaxation. Une superbe maison dans un endroit qui l’ai tout autant tout le confort maison de charme, des accès rapides aux villages alentours et aux chemins de promenade Rien ne manque pour passer un agréable séjour

L'ensemble de la prestation me paraît bien, le seul bémol était la piscine, l'eau n'y était pas claire. Il existe des maisons d'hôtes bien moins chère pour une meilleure prestation.

Très agréable séjour

Jolie maison au milieu des vignes , sans aucun vis à vis . La maison est agréable, le jardin avec la piscine également . La,proximité de la route peut faire peur pour le bruit mais au final ce n’est pas gênant Magnifique Village de Cotignac à quelques minutes et de nombreuses choses à;voir dans la région .

Un très bon séjour dans une région magnifique

Nous avons apprécié la maison qui garde la fraicheur même en période de forte chaleur ; la piscine entourée d'oliviers et de vignes aide au repos ; idéalement située pour découvrir la région si attachante. Seul bémol, la situation trop proche de la route, très passante pendant l'été

Leuk gelegen eenvoudig huis aan wijnvelden

Goed fijn verblijf in eenvoudig huis. Alles was wel aanwezig en huis lag mooi met zwembad aan de wijnvelden. Wel geluidsoverlast van weg waaronder het huis lag. Zijn 3 slaapkamers waaronder 1 met 4 bedden. Heerlijke week gehad! Aardig ontvangst!

Schöner großer Garten, in dem man gut entspannen konnten. Allerdings könnte das Objekt etwas mehr pflege vertragen, vor allem mit Blick auf die Bäder. Die in der direkten nähe verlaufende Strasse war für einige von uns teilweise (vor allem am Tage) doch sehr störend.

Tolles Haus ☆☆☆☆☆

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus sehr genossen Der Pool war sehr sauber so wie das Haus Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sehr gut ausgestattet Die Vormieter hätten die Küchenutensilien und Gläser sauberer hinterlassen können... Im Geräteschuppen gibt es sogar eine große Kühl/Gefrierkombination Den Verkehrslärm empfanden wir jetzt im Juni nicht als störend und auch nicht übermässig Für Hundebesitzer ist zu bedenken das man nur ein kurzes Stück in den Olivenhain laufen kann Vom Grunstück aus gibt es keine Wege Man braucht immer ein Auto ist aber dafür ganz für sich alleine Es war ein sehr sehr schöner Aufenthalt Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und Tom nochmal ein ganz ganz dickes Sorry für das kaputtene Fenster

Hängemattenglück

Wir hatten sehr schöne 2 Wochen in Cotignac. Ein traumhafter Ort. Schöne Umgebung. Das Haus liegt umgeben von Weinreben und Olivenbäumen. Bei der angrenzende Straße stören nur am Wochenende die Motorräder. Ansonsten ist es sehr erholsam. Ansprechpartner jederzeit erreichbar und nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Te veel verkeer

Al het moois van het huis, het zwembad, het uitzicht wordt teniet gedaan door het verkeerslawaai. Er is geen sprake van een landweggetje zoals in de advertentie staat, het is een doorgaande weg naar een toeristische attractie. Wil je hier van genieten moet je door zijn of van verkeerslawaai houden.

Our stay in Cotignac

The property was typically Provence, idyllic set alongside the vineyard and an ideal base for us to relax and to travel into the village, as well as explore the surrounding area. The traffic noise from the adjoining road can be a little intrusive.

Schönes Sommerhaus

Das Haus bietet viel Platz für uns drei Personen. Man kann sich im Garten, im Haus oder der Terrasse aufhalten. Im Haus gab es alles was man braucht. Wir waren im April dort und mussten früh und abends die zwei Holzöfen anmachen da es sich noch frisch war. Es gibt keine Heizkörper. Zum baden im schönen Pool war das Wasser auch noch zu kalt. Die Straße ist gleich nebenan. Schade - das war manchmal echt laut. Gerade Motorräder. Sonst ist alles so wie abgebildet. Contignac ist ein schöner kleiner entspannter Ort in der Nähe.

A wonderful escape to Provence

Just back from 2 weeks spent at this great Villa. The location is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, and the outside spaces are just wonderful - dining tables with natural shade from the mature trees meant that we could eat outside throughout our stay, the hammocks are great and we spent every evening sat in the deckchairs watching the sun go down over the vines. The house is next to a road, but it's set back and sunken so that you don't see the road and other than the sound of the odd car passing, it's tranquil and peaceful. A spacious house with a good kitchen and bathrooms. Marion provided great support throughout our stay, giving great suggestions for day trips. Having never been to Provence before, we were blown away by how beautiful the area was - we'll definitely be back to Mas St-Antoine....

Lovely house; slightly too far from Cotignac

We had a lovely time, but a few things let it down slightly: - It was a 25 minute walk into Cotignac which was a bit too far with kids. - The pool alarm went off on 3 separate nights. The water in the pool was too low apparently; this should not have occurred. It was terrifying on the first night to think a child may have fallen in the pool at 2.45am. - The outside lights were broken and new bulbs did not work. So a shame that we couldn't enjoy long evenings outside as the inside lamps we were advised to take out were not suitable. However, the house was lovely, the beds very comfy and generally well equipped.

Erholsame Tage unter Maulbeer- u Olivenbäumen

Wir verbrachten schon zum zweiten Mal unsere Ferien in diesem alten Bauernhaus und haben uns hierwieder sehr wohlgefühlt. Die baulichen Veränderungen seit unserem letzten Besuch lassen unsere Bewertung noch positiver ausfallen. Der neue Pool ist wunderbar und hat uns zum täglichen Eintauchen animiert. Die beiden neuen Bäder waren eine positive Überraschung. Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern ausreichend Platz. Danke auch für den zusätzlichen großen Kühlschrank im Nebenhäuschen. Die gesamte Anlage macht einen wunderbaren Eindruck. Es waren wieder sehr schöne Tage die wir hier verbracht haben. Die Hitze konnte man gut vertragen, denn nach einem kühlen Bad konnte man es sich unter schattenspendenden großen Bäumen in der Hängematte gemütlich machen und den Sundowner in der Abendsonne unter dem Maulbeerbaum genießen. Dazu der tolle Blick auf die Weinreben und Olivenbäume. Uns hat das Boule spielen vor dem Haus viel Spaß gemacht. Auch die Fahrräder haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Fahrt von Cotignac zum Haus zurück ist allerdings recht steil. Unbedingt empfehlen wir den wöchentlichen Markt am Dienstag! Ein besonderes highlite war diesmal das „Rose Festival“ der Winzer aus Cotignac, ein wunderbarer Abend. Leider war die schöne Zeit viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Charming, restful holiday house

The house was welcoming, with very good facilities. The kitchen and bathroom seemed newly refurbished. The surroundings are beautiful. The property has a substantial olive grove beyond the swimming pool. There are hammocks, one under a mature mulberry tree. It is a lovely place to be relaxed, with the vineyard just beyond the boundary, woodland to wander through, amazing butterflies at the time we were there, fruit trees and space for boules as you approach the house, and space to eat outside for every meal if the weather is as kind as it was for us. It is possible to walk into Cotignac, though the way back is uphill. There is a main road by which you access the property and that can be heard when the cicadas are having their lunch. We did not find it noticeable once we were settled. For a real experience of rural Provence with comfort and atmosphere it is hard to beat. Visit the cascades at Sillans and Entrecasteaux, wander round Cotignac and its markets. There is much to explore.

Amazing restful stay in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely spacious house surrounded by olive groves and vineyard. The pool was a win - couldn't keep the kids out of it! The local area had lots to offer, Cotignac village for leisurely lunches, cafes and a spot of sightseeing at the caves. The house is well equipped and the bedrooms a good size. The outdoor eating area was lovely in the evening. Already booked for a return visit in 2019!

Lovely cosy cottage

We had a great time staying in this lovely property. Lovely views over a vineyard and orchard, perfect for relaxing on a warm evening . During the day you can wander into Cotignac for a coffee and walk along one of the tracks out the other side of Cotignac and swim in natural pools under waterfalls - it doesn't get much better than that!

We had a brilliant long weekend staying with friends at the property. It's beautifully decorated inside with a charming rustic exterior. Great location with lots to explore nearby. Missing the warm evenings by pool drinking wine!

Real Provence experience

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is well equipped. We enjoyed cooking with local produce. The house is very close to Cotignac - beautiful city to stroll around with variety of interesting shops, restaurants & great market on Tuesday! We walked from the house to Cotignac & it was a very pleasant walk, great views & nature!
