Cozy Lewes Home - Immense et récemment rénové!

Invitez vos amis et votre famille Ă  passer du temps dans cette maison rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e de 4 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain Ă  Lewes! Juste en face de Crooked Hamock et Ă  vĂ©lo de la plage, vous ĂȘtes Ă  quelques minutes de l’endroit oĂč vous voulez aller!

Récemment rénové en 2019, profitez des tout nouveaux appareils, literie, etc. Il y a DEUX espaces de rassemblement familial! La premiÚre est une grande salle incroyable avec de hauts plafonds, de nombreux siÚges et une télévision. Le deuxiÚme espace est une chambre familiale avec un canapé-lit pour des invités supplémentaires! La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 à 10 personnes avec une table magnifiquement restaurée et fabriquée localement. La cuisine a beaucoup de placards et de nouveaux appareils. Dégustez une tasse de café le matin dans le coin petit-déjeuner de la cuisine. Le deuxiÚme étage dispose de 4 chambres spacieuses: 1 suite parentale, 1 lit queen, 1 chambre double et deux lits jumeaux dans la derniÚre chambre. Les 2 salles de bain complÚtes ont été rénovées et sont bien approvisionnées en serviettes moelleuses, gels douche, etc. Enfin, il y a une buanderie à service complet à utiliser pendant votre séjour avec beaucoup d'espace, planche et fer à repasser.

Cet emplacement possÚde une grande cour arriÚre et une cour latérale ainsi que de nombreuses places de stationnement (environ 5 places). C'est l'endroit idéal pour une soirée entre célibataires ou un grand rassemblement multi-familial!

The home was in a great location with plenty of parking. It was a great size for our needs. There were a few concerns, but could be because we were there off season. There were quite a few dead bugs on the carpet. There were no potholders in the kitchen. The railing on the stairs going upstairs in the original part of the house has loose pieces on the handrail.

The access information to unlock the door did not work. Check-in time was 4:00 pm, we got there at 3:56 pm...could not get in, tried 4, 5, 6 more times after 4:00 pm and it still did not work. Luckily, the backdoor was left open. Sent an email requesting a phone call, no response. The door finally worked on Sunday when we checked it again. The fact that we cannot contact someone easily was very disappointing.

Second year renting and another great vacation. Family loves the location and size of the house. Perfect fit for us all. Close to our favorite spots; Cape Henlopen, Cape May Ferry, Lewes shops, Kings, playgrounds, grocery stores, and Walmart. We will return again!

Charming Lewes Home - Autumn Ladies Weekend

Plenty of space

Plenty of space for guests. Older house but some decent upgrades. Kitchen is spacious but could be little better outfitted if you’re wanting to do lots of cooking instead of eating out. Owner was very responsive to messages and let us check in early. Good location.

Spacious House with a few issues

There's a lot space here--that's the positive. There were some cleanliness and comfort issues. The mattress cover on one bed was stained and had to be removed--we didn't put it back on; mugs in the cabinet were not clean; and the room with twin beds had no window covering, making it hard to sleep with all the light coming in. There are no comforters or heavy blankets to use with your sheets, so that's a good note for future guests.

Perfect place

House was just as mentioned. Size was perfect to fit our family of 9. It was very spacious with everthing we needed for a memorable vacation. Exact location we love. Close to Cape Henlopen, Lewes, ferry, playgrounds, eateries, and stores. We always vacation in this area. Our our VRBO home was taken off market. My gransons have named this the Brother's House. Hope to make this our annual home away from Home. Thank Katie for opening your home to my family. We all loved it. God bless.

Not so Charming

The price of the rental, the communication with the owner and the check-in process were all great. There were several issues/problems with our experience. - It is on a main hwy, so a lot of traffic, morning and NIGHT. I'm not from the area and didn't realize this. - The kitchen was full of fruit flies, not something I want or should have to deal with on a vacation. We mitigated the problem within 3 days with glasses of wine. - The kitchen glass door was extremely hard to open, it had no screen which would have been nice to open and hang out on the porch or opening while cooking. Also, there is a window company right behind the property so they could see in side. - The toaster oven did not work. - The Brita water pitcher had leaks and leaked on the floor and in the fridge. - the upstairs smelled like pee, not sure if it was the carpet but not a great smell. - 2 BDRS had no dressers, so we kept our cloths in our luggage and our children organized there cloths on the floor. - The BDR with 2 twin beds, for kids I assume (my 2 kids took it) it had no curtains or blinds and was facing the street, not good. good thing I brought their blackout curtain - the 2 BTHS had hairballs on the shower curtain and tub - the 2nd BTH drain was clogged, standing water as I showered, yuck. Drano? - the bedroom doors squeaked when I open/closed, hard at night when kids need to go to the BTH I know a lot of these are simple fixes but not something I should deal with on a family vacation.

Loved our stay!

The house was great! Spacious, clean, great location, had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Staying there made our trip to the beach even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing beach trip with the family!

This house has lots of space for the whole family to spread out and relax. It’s a nice location, close to Cape Henlopen State Park. The only thing that would have made it even better would be for there to be a grill and fire pit near the outdoor space.

Lovely!

Great beach house! Easy drive to most things, and perfect size for a larger group of 8ish. Overall accomodations are less than other locations, but the host is very upfront about this and the house is priced appropriately. Lack of curtains in the bedrooms and a very difficult to open back patio door were the only noteable disappointments. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very spacious beach house!

We had a great stay! Though we were a bit surprised at needing to bring our own linens it wasn't a problem. The house is very spacious and cozy and close the beach and Lewes restaurants.

Huge, Clean, and Perfect Location!

We attended a family wedding in the area this weekend and this house was exactly what we needed. There were 8 adults and we had tons of space to spread out. Great location to stores and restaurants. We had dinner at the Crooked Hammock across the street and it was perfect. The owner, Katie, responded to my questions within minutes of me sending a message. She was great to work with. We would stay there again.

Great Space and Location

Chose this rental for annual girls’ weekend. The location was central—easy access to both Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Exceptionally clean with plenty of space. Felt like being at home. Highly recommend!

Great Beach Stay - Away from Beach

This was a great location and residence for us to spend our family vacation. The house was nicely located within minutes of the beaches (Henlopen State Park & Rehoboth Beach), shopping centers, and all of the amenity stores (Aldi, Acme, Wawa, Giant, etc). The house was spacious for our family of 5. The rear patio was nice and cool for afternoon/early evening relaxation periods. We arrived early and the owner was kind enough to let us in early. We were able to get questions answered in a timely manner also. All in all this was a great vacation spot and we thank the owner greatly for a fantastic week away.
