Charmant 3 chambres 2 salles de bain situé dans le nord de Rockaway Beach avec accès à la plage

Bienvenue au Lakeside Caboose, situé dans la magnifique plage de Rockaway! Nichée entre le lac Lytle et le Pacifique, cette cabane lumineuse et aérée était historiquement la dernière maison au bord des limites de la ville de Rockaway, inspirant son nom, The Lakeside Caboose. La maison peut accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes dans trois chambres en bas (King, King w / lits superposés et une reine) avec deux salles de bain complètes. À l'étage, vous trouverez un espace ouvert accueillant avec une vue imprenable sur le lac à l'est et l'océan à l'ouest. La cuisine et le salon sont également situés au deuxième étage, avec une demi-baignoire nichée sur le côté. La cabine a été entièrement rénovée en 2019, mais conserve encore un certain charme vintage avec un poêle d'époque des années 1950 dans la cuisine inspirée de la ferme. Nous avons des jumelles disponibles pour l'observation des baleines, ou vous pourriez même apercevoir les pygargues à tête blanche résidents qui nichent de l'autre côté du lac.

Pendant votre séjour à Rockaway Beach, assurez-vous de sortir et d'explorer les magasins et restaurants situés juste à côté de l'autoroute 101. Vous pourrez trouver le souvenir parfait pour vos amis et votre famille à la maison. Vous pouvez également explorer la plage ou aller pêcher dans le lac, alors apportez votre équipement de pêche! Voyagez vers le nord jusqu'à Seaside et explorez la magnifique promenade, ou dirigez-vous vers le sud jusqu'à Tillamook pour une visite de l'usine où ils produisent de délicieux produits laitiers et de boeuf. This is a nice place to hang out and relax at the beach. The main downtown area of Rockaway is just a few minutes away by car or a few more minutes away on foot. The beach is even closer - basically just a block away! Whether you're looking to relax and read at the beach or explore up and down the coast, this house is a great home base.

A great home with very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. With an open floor plan and big table - great for group games & food. Please be mindful of the stairs up to the front door ... there is no hand rail in the second flight and not easy to traverse. Also limited parking. Overall, a fantastic home.

Relaxing

Our second stay here. We all had a relaxing stay and we’re very comfortable. Lots of cozy blankets for those cold wet ocean days. Kitchen is well appointed and easy to navigate. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Restful Family Spot

The house is in a great location, within walking distance to the public dock on the lake for the boys to walk and fish every day. So close to the beach to easily spend the evenings enjoying the sunset and wonderful views. Centrally located to easily visit tillamook, cannon beach, or other nearby sites. Downtown rockaway is so close and has plenty of great shops and don’t forget to stop at pronto pup and ride the corn dog!

Beautiful House

This house was perfect for my sis and I and our three kids and two dogs!! House was very clean. Lots of room for us to all relax and enjoy. The deck was amazing. Views were spectacular. Would highly recommend

Great place close to the beach! Well stocked and clean with space to relax between beach trips. I would add that it’s close to the highway and train tracks, so that can be loud. I would also suggest a longer welcome mat as we did drop the key through the porch a couple of times and had to crawl under and get it. Charming vintage cute and perfect for staying in Rockaway.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay here, we picked this house because of the large tables and large kitchen, so we could have my parents and brothers family over for dinners while we all stayed in Rockaway. The only thing we missed having was a bbq (we didn’t realize there wasn’t one when we booked). The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us. Everything was clean.

Overall a nice weekend getaway. Upon arrival the house smelled musty. We had to open all the windows. While it does have new floors and paint the furniture is dated as well as the appliances. The fireplace is a plug in electric feature and did not work for us. Great views of beach and lake. Easy to walk to beach. Cute town.

Excellent Place to Stay!

The house is located close to the beach, is quiet, well-stocked, and has great views. Close to stores and shops. The property has A LOT of stairs to get in and to the main living area. I wish I had known that. My elderly parents found this very challenging. That’s the one downside. Overall, a great trip and nice place to stay!

Family time at the beach

Great rental with views

Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds which is critical. Views are fabulous, can see lake on one side and ocean on other! Great family rental, would absolutely rent again. VERY close to beach, easy beach access down the street. Right near 101 and there is some road noise, but only when it's totally quiet outside and only occasionally. It was not a factor, but given its location, wanted to mention this in case it was a concern for someone considering this home.

Cute house in a great location. Walked to the beach several times. All bedrooms are on the main level with the kitchen and living area upstairs. Must climb stairs to access the house. It was clean and we had everything we needed.
