Unité 411 - Vous, votre famille et vos amis adorerez rester dans cette retraite de plage lumineuse, amusante et relaxante. Ce condo au rez-de-chaussée est entièrement équipé avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour passer des vacances amusantes et relaxantes. Seulement environ 100 étapes (oui, nous avons compté!) de la porte de cette retraite de vacances au beau sable blanc des PLAGES du comté de South Walton.

Le condo est bien entretenu avec une décoration mise à jour et amusante. Cette grande escapade de deux chambres et deux salles de bain a beaucoup de place pour votre famille et vos amis. La chambre principale a un grand lit king-size et la deuxième chambre a un lit double et un lit simple.

La propriété Beachside Villas Condominium est située sur le côté de la plage. Vous, votre famille et vos amis adorerez séjourner dans cette retraite de plage lumineuse, amusante et relaxante.

The amenities in this condo and the complex itself are poorly maintained - the dishwasher was broken for more than half of our month long stay - which should have been plenty of time to fix or replace it. The oven also went out for a day. The pool heater worked only sporadically and was completely out for over a week at one point leaving my kids extremely disappointed. Our neighbors who visit annually said this is a problem every year, so for anyone valuing a heated pool, this location is not for you. Or anyone who requires a full kitchen and cooks regularly. Communication was also lacking- minimal updates regarding maintenance and paper plates provided only after I complained that it had been a week of handwashing for a family. Not what I had in mind! However, the beach is beautiful. The distance however is misrepresented, the 100 steps must be from the edge of the complex and going to the beach access they say you are not allowed to use. The access for this complex to the beach is a 10 min walk at least. Important to know for those with mobility limits as you wouldn't be able to drive to it either, there is no parking at the access point. Another issue was communication from the complex about maintenance happening, we had workers coming onto our patio literally drilling holes in our patio and moving our stuff around with no notice. Overall it wasn't the experience we expected and wouldn't stay again.

Mother-daughter getaway

It was a beautiful week. We always enjoy staying at Beachside Villas. The property was clean, and the beds comfortable. Loved being on the first floor. Can’t wait to come again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was great but the beach access sucks. You have to walk a long distance to get to the access point to where the Beach Villa guests are allowed to use. Even with allowed access, there isn't enough space for the guests and the other public guests.

Great Aside from Delayed Check In

Everything was great overall. Only hitch was that we planned our 14 hour journey to end right at check in time for the condo. We got a text at check in time saying they just started cleaning it. Good communication, quick turnaround, a little demoralizing. They remedied the situation with a delayed check out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed in this complex many times. It is the perfect location. Just be aware the you now only get a very small portion of the beach (almost on top of everyone) unless you take the trolly down to the public portion. The private beaches on each side were completely empty, but you are still not allowed on them. I know this is not the complex’s fault, but just be aware :) otherwise, perfect location.

Overall pretty good

The condo was just what our family needed for a weekend beach trip. A little small, and you can tell it is older, but well maintained and clean. I did take issue however with the master bed/bathroom smelling sort of mildewy. Otherwise, the furnishings were nice and it had everything we needed. It’s a shame we had to walk down the street to get to the beach instead of using the access point right next to the condos, but I understand that’s out of their control. Also, the management company sent WAY too many emails before, during, and after our trip. There is such a thing as over-communication.

Left a lot to be desired…

The smoke detectors went off each time we showered or used our hairdryer and also randomly during the mornings and in the middle of the night. We called maintenance they came and ‘fixed’ them except they did NOT…. Alarms continued so the maintenance came back and removed the smoke detectors from the unit for the rest of our stay. I’m 100% sure that does NOT meet code!!!! The unit was NOT a well maintained and was not clean.

Good Basic Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a basic condo that we enjoyed staying in. We walked to the beach once or twice and it was very close, we went to the beach primarily with Friends staying further down the beach. The directions on how to access the beach and what parts we could visit were confusing. The condo was easy to find and the first floor corner location was nice. We also liked the porch area. I wish there had been additional pools, but maybe it would not be an issue if we had not needed to social distance. One problem we did have was noise from above. The condo above us was extremely noisy and we could hear them moving, running and jumping all hours of the night.Also the streets leading to the complex after you turn off the main road are very dark. Overall, this was a well maintained, comfortable and nicely decorated condo in a convenient location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything that we needed for our short trip. Easy to access, lots of parking and close to the beach! The check-in and check-out procedure were simple and the property itself was clean and taken care of. The price was fair and communication/instructions with the company went smoothly. One thing we noticed.. just about every vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in before had a kitchen cabinet of spices, olive oil, sugar, whatever that previous guests had left behind. This one didn’t have anything in it. So if you plan on cooking a lot, maybe bring salt/pepper/whatever with you or you’re going to be buying everything just for your stay. I don’t know which scenario is the “usual” one, it’s just what we’ve encountered personally before. The only two thing that sticks out to me on the negative side was the walls seem super thin.. we didn’t have a neighbor on either side of us, but people upstairs walking normally was quite loud. I wouldn’t consider that a dealbreaker though when factored in with all the other good things about the condo. We would stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was ok. Nothing special and the interior was not decorated in the same way as the pictures. When we arrived the sink in one of the bathrooms was cracked and our code to get into the pool never did work. After trying multiple times we gave up on trying to get into the pool and never went back. The sliding door to the patio in fact does not have a lock or latching system, it is only pushed closed and has a board in the back so it’s not able to be opened from the outside. The washing machine also smelled, I understand it’s a front loading washer but it could be cleaned after each week of use. For sure we paid entirely too much to stay in this condo for the quality of the condo. It was nice being on the ground floor and also not a terrible walk to the beach but we wouldn’t be staying in this particular condo itself ever again.

Wonderful place!
