La cabane au trésor du Culhane Lake Resort Superior est déconnectée du paradis.

Superiors Treasure a pour thĂšme la nature sauvage du rivage du lac SupĂ©rieur avec un clin d'Ɠil Ă  la vie nautique et au phare historique de Crisp Point Ă  proximitĂ©. Peut accueillir un total de six personnes dans deux chambres doubles avec matelas en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de forme de 12 pouces et un canapĂ©-lit queen dans le salon. Chauffage au propane, Ă©lectrique partout, cuisine avec cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, micro-ondes et cafetiĂšre. Comprend des ustensiles de cuisine, des casseroles et des poĂȘles, de la vaisselle et de l'argenterie, et une terrasse extĂ©rieure avec barbecue Ă  gaz. Salle de bain complĂšte avec douche, lavabo et toilettes Ă  compost.

Le linge de lit, les serviettes de bain et les torchons sont inclus.

Loyer hebdomadaire 945 $ du 6 juin 2020 au 12 septembre 2020. Loyer à la nuitée de 135 $ du 13 septembre 2020 au 4 juin 2021. Un minimum de trois nuits est requis.

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, off grid, no wifi, limited cell service break from everyday life, this is the place for you!

Perfect escape!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment. The cabin was super clean, well stocked with a perfect view. The property is a real treasure and the owner Steve is so helpful and a great guy. We will be back soon.

Unplugged

Great experience in the UP snowmobiling, truly in the middle of no where. Beautiful views. Both if my dogs loved it and had plenty of room to run. We will be back!

A Great Place to Unplug

This was a great get away. I loved the fact that my phone didn't work. I sat by the lake every morning with my coffee and journaled while my teen slept until noon. We learned how to paddle board and had so much fun playing with our dogs and just being a family together. Often I am working a lot because i am a single mom but this vacation I was able to really be present with myself, my son and enjoy our dogs! The cabin was clean, tidy and comfortable. We stayed for a week and I could have stayed much longer. Steve is a great host. He's around to answer questions and is very helpful but doesn't hover. He taught me how to use the percolator!

Peaceful getaway

This was exactly what I was hoping for! The property was quiet and surrounded by nature and wildlife right on the lake. Steve was friendly and quick to respond to messages before my trip, and was helpful during my stay with planning local hikes and activities. It is a very remote stay, plan on no cell service or Wi-Fi. When driving there, if your gps is like mine it will say you’ve arrived but you need to go approximately another 7 miles farther down the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation

Steve was the nicest host I've ever stayed with through VRBO. The property is beautiful, and our stay was great all around. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Our stay at Culhane lake

We really enjoyed our stay. Just a few things. The water is definitely not potable. One of our party got sick the first night from the water. The out house although clean did get a bit smelly by mid week. Other than that the cabin was was very clean and the lake is beautiful. The owner Steve is very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions for day trips.

Perfect!

What a wonderful place to stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything needed for our stay. And the location was absolutely perfect -- the proximity to hiking, Culhane Lake, and Crisp Point/Lake Superior were extremely convenient. And easy access to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay. Off the grid

It was easy to rent. GPS did lead us astray a bit. But lovely view. Great host. Sweet dogs. Very very clean. Great spot for doing day trips. Rough road in and out.

Great stay!

The property was beautiful! It felt away from it all, but we still had neighbors which made us feel at ease. Close to Tahquomenon Falls state park! The cabin was so cute! My cousin and I enjoyed a wonderful getaway! Steve was very helpful, especially when we had car trouble- he was more than willing to help us get back on the road.

In a word, heaven.

Steve has a great thing going here, and he is doing it very well. He made his presence known, and then was unobtrusive. The cabin was clean, and our late night arrival was no problem. Although we brought our own kayaks, it's nice that he has them for guest use. 10/10, we will be back.

Beautiful little lake, off the grid

Nice little cottage on a beautiful lake. Definitely for folks that want to be away from the noise, lights, etc of civilization (long drive on dirt road to get to nearest town). No light pollution at night -- beautiful stars. Loved hearing the loons and whip-poor-wills calling in the late evening.

Our involvement with the area began about fourteen years ago when one of us began indulging a need to run sled dogs that developed into an ongoing interest, as well as added canine members to our family over the years.
We dreamed off and on over the years of owning a place in the Upper Peninsula in the area of Culhane Lake, but the right place and the right time hadn’t presented. It was a time to for us to visit, love the area, but also have to leave for home after each wonderful trip.
A few years back a musher friend passed away, and we went to look at his former lodge. The spot wasn’t quite right for us, but the realtor told us that Culhane Lake Resort was on the market, and worth a look.
This little hamlet of cabins had clearly seen a lot of life, and needed some work, but as we looked through the trees out to the lake we only saw wonderful possibilities to finally have our own retreat in the upper peninsula.
We didn’t have to think about it very long, since by the time we made it to nearby Newberry we decided to stop off and make an offer.
