Ferme Luray sur la rivière

Une belle ferme privée sur la rivière Shenandoah. C'est un endroit idéal pour les amateurs de plein air et jouxte la forêt nationale de George Washington. Cet endroit est parfait pour la randonnée, le kayak, la pêche avec une rampe de mise à l'eau publique à proximité. Plusieurs chambres et beaucoup de lits a. Immense chambre principale avec vue sur le fleuve, grandes salles de bains, commodes, un grand salon / salon, TV, grande cuisine complète, cellier et buanderie. Profitez du petit déjeuner sur nous votre premier matin!

L'espace
L'extérieur a des caméras de sécurité.

Le rez-de-chaussée comprend une cuisine complète, un café-bar, une salle à manger, un salon, une télévision, une connexion Internet, un canapé en cuir et un fauteuil inclinable, une grande salle de bains, une grande chambre principale avec lit king-size et un futon gigogne. Il existe des cheminées mais elles ne sont pas disponibles pour être utilisées.

Il y a beaucoup de place dans cette maison. s'il vous plaît comprendre si vous voulez la maison entière, vous devez faire votre réservation pour 18ppl. autre literie sage est arrangée pour le nombre de personnes.

Il y a une chambre principale en bas, un futon, un canapé et un fauteuil inclinable.

This place was wonderful for the amount of people we had. It was absolutely beautiful. The host was wonderful gave good advice and was very easy to contact. The house was clean and had everything we would need and more. The views were amazing and surprisingly the house was very quiet even with how close it was to the road. Honestly didn’t hear any traffic almost the entire time we were there. Loved the stay and would a thousand percent come back.

If you want a country setting that is peaceful, with wonderful scenery, in a historic home setting with plenty of bedrooms, this is the place to stay. We went in the Spring. It is about 10 minutes NW of Luray Caverns. Sharon was a wonderful hostess. She had breakfast fixings in the fridge for us in the morning. What an extra special touch. I definitely am planning to go back later in the year.

Loved the views around the old farm house.The listing is accurate as an old house and it had large rooms and old time feel. It is noisy at night as we had a large group and you could hear the floors and doors as people moved about.It does need a little TLC as there were spider webs and dead insects that need to be cleaned up. Bath rooms were very clean.The beds were comfortable but the futons were as expected (not very comfortable).

It was a beautiful place, relaxing, great for a group to cook, sit on a porch, next to the deep water of The Shenandoah River. Great beds, kitchen was easy for several people cooking at the same time

The property is great. Location is great - and beautiful. The house would work well for large groups. Our group of 5 was there between Christmas and New Years so cold weather had us spending a couple of family days inside playing games and discussing what to eat next. Sharon made it easy to check in. The house is an old farmhouse so there is a historic feel to the property. We would love to know the history of the house and property.

Location surpassed our expectations; the house and property are absolutely enormous and well maintained. Sharon (Host) was delightful and responsive. The location is tranquil and serene nestled between Shanandoah River and mountains. My organization would absolutely return, given the opportunity.

Great farmhouse in the country!

Great old farmhouse in the country with lots of charm! Beautiful views of the mountains and fall foliage. Lots of space to spread out and great for just being outside. Far enough away from the city but still close to shopping and other activities. Would definitely go back!

Very pleased with the house and our host Sharon. The house was located on a beautiful piece of property on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. There was plenty of room for all that stayed overnight. And for the extras that live in town to come over for dinner. 23 total!Sharon has the kitchen stocked well. She also had paper products in kitchen and baths. House was clean and beds made with country quilts. Sharon was attentive and answered all questions quickly.We are thinking about coming back during the summer to use the porches and fire pit and enjoy the river.Thanks again Sharon we had a wonderful time.Jane Thanksgiving 2025

Family

We live in Cumberland, MD and had family coming up from Florida. My niece was getting married in Luray. We found this house that was perfect for our large family and only 20 minutes away from the wedding site. Loved the charm and the closeness of the river. And it was great to all be together to spend time with the Florida family too.

Surprise 70th birthday celebration

Invited family from out of state to surprise my husband for his 70th birthday. Location allowed everyone to spread out as needed. The dining setting is perfect for large groups. Great time had by all.

Country Living

The house was definitely rural. The river flowing by was very peaceful. The big yard is a great place for kids to toss a ball. The best time to stay would be late spring, summer, early fall.

Excellent House for River Tubing/Float

House is nice in size, and has beds for friends and family to get together for a river float. Everything needed is at the house and the property manager is easy to get in contact with. Internet and AC are bonus!
