Bienvenue au Pelican Beach Resort # 1915 - "Cloud Nine"! Récemment rénové et meublé avec les plus belles vues sur le golfe du Mexique et la plage! ** VEUILLEZ NOTER QUE LES PHOTOS SONT "AVANT" et ne reflètent pas nos nouvelles rénovations et meubles!** Notre condo comprend une suite principale sur le golfe, un balcon surdimensionné et de nouveaux meubles partout et mises à jour, y compris un mur de shiplap! Nous avons également une cuisine entièrement équipée, de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, une laveuse / sécheuse à l'intérieur du condo, une chambre d'amis avec 2 lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit avec matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme améliorée sans barre centrale!

Pelican Beach Resort ajoute une énorme nouvelle piscine à entrée zéro avec jets et geysers splash et un grand nouveau spa et des tonnes d'espace pour bronzer et sera ouvert à l'été 2020! Cela s'ajoute aux équipements actuels, notamment une grande piscine, une piscine pour enfants, une piscine intérieure / extérieure et un spa. Le Pelican Beach Resort propose également un café sur place, un tennis, un centre de remise en forme, une cabane tiki en saison avec de merveilleuses boissons, un service de plage saisonnier, un parking couvert, un espace de convention et de réunion. We had a wonderful stay! The condo itself and the entire property was nice and clean. The hosts were easy to get in touch with and even had a new Keurig delivered when the current one wasn’t working. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. Pools were nice and beach access was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Birthday!

Went for a 5 day trip for my birthday with the family. We had a great time. The condo is great and the staff and facilities are awesome! It was our first time to Destin and we will be back. The beach and the area are wonderful!

Condo was as advertised. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Was able to fit a pack n play for the toddler. Hosts communication was great. Beach access was great. Great location as far as proximity to attractions. My only real complaint is there no safety locks on the doors. The main entry door only has the electronic keypad that locks upon closure. No deadbolt. No interior lock on the handle. No safety chain. Nothing. Kids can open it with ease. No second stop to keep kids in or strangers out. Some sort of second lock on the balcony doors would have also made me feel more at ease. We also didn’t love that we couldn’t use our pop up canopy. You could use your own umbrella, or rent from the condo, but no canopies. Not a deal breaker, but the extra space and shade would have been nice. Overall, it was a great location, space, and get away for our family.

We love hearing that the space worked perfectly for your little ones and that the location and beach access were a highlight. We do want to offer some reassurance on the door security for future guests. The property uses a Kaba electronic lock system which automatically deadbolts the moment the door closes. This is a commercial grade locking system and is actually more secure than a traditional deadbolt in many ways as it cannot be picked or left unlocked by accident. A stranger would not be able to enter the unit under any circumstances without a unique access code. We completely understand the desire for an interior safety chain when traveling with young children and will pass that feedback along to the owner as a consideration. Tents are prohibited on almost all public and resort beaches along the Gulf Coast due to the very real safety risk of them becoming airborne in coastal winds and injuring other beachgoers. This is a widespread beach safety regulation rather than a resort-specific rule and is enforced up and down the Emerald Coast. Individual umbrellas are the approved shade option on virtually all area beaches. We hope to welcome your family back for another wonderful stay!

We had a great time despite the beginning of the COVID19 shut downs midweek of our stay. The facility and condo is really nice. The tiki bar was great. The beach was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The property manager worked with me on changing dates and was very helpful.

Property was as advertised. Property manager was very responsive to a few questions we had during the stay. I saw some negative reviews online about the property staff (unrelated to this unit) - we had great service from the property staff - only positives. I would stay here again.

Nice getaway

Overall the entire stay was great. We enjoyed the condo itself and the property overall. It is a very large condo building so finding/walking to parking and waiting on an elevator were our least favorite parts but understandable overall. Condo was very clean and in great condition.

Perfect beach vacation!

This condo resort and this particular unit was perfect! No walking to the beach or pool, everything you need steps away. We had issue with the garbage disposal but the owner had maintenance there within the hour. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

Condo was amazing and accurately described. This was our best family vacation in Florida, we took a family of 5. I do recommend getting beach chair and umbrella rental setup before you go. This is a private beach , you can still setup behind the rows of chairs if you don’t want chairs and umbrellas. Crab island was amazing and The Crab Trap was the best food we had while there. We will definitely be repeating this trip in the future, hopefully this condo will be available when we return. We don’t have anything negative to say about the entire trip.

Location location location!!!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location is fabulous. The views from the balcony are great. We rented beach chairs for the weekend, that was a very simple and easy process. We did note a few small issues with the condo. The drain in the master bathroom drained extremely slow, 30+ mins to drain after taking a shower. Some of the interior doors in the bedrooms and bathrooms are a little hard to open and close. Seems the hinges are off Nothing that made our stay not enjoyable, just a few things that could use a little freshening up inside the condo. Would definitely recommend this condo and this area in Destin.

Hello, the rental was nice but it could have a couple of things updated to make it even better. Only one elevator worked the entire time we were there for a busy weekend. Long waits, several people packed on the elevator during COVID. It was a diaper under the bedroom with the twin beds. Overall the condo could have been cleaned a little better. We cleaned when we arrived and leaving. The tv in the time bedroom also did not work: it kept freezing.

Hi! We are sorry to hear about your issues and wish you had contacted us during your stay to make it right! We have the most incredible staff of cleaners and almost never have a cleaning complaint! If you had reported the tv, we would of had it fixed immediately - we simply did not know there was a problem. Unfortunately during your stay, one bank of elevators was having it's annual inspection and was temporarily closed during that time. We do let all of our guests know in their welcome letter about the "secret" elevator bank located very close to the condo that also could have been used. I know there is never a good time for building maintenance, but for the safety of everyone, these things do have to be tended to. Thank you for staying in our condo!

My husband and I had a fabulous week away from reality! This unit was everything it was advertised to be and more. From the moment we walked in, it smelled amazing, and the welcoming, tranquil music playing throughout the unit immediately put us in vacation mode.The mattress in the master bedroom deserves a review all on its own… absolutely HEAVENLY!The elevators were never an issue—we had little to no wait times. We also loved the live music by the tiki bar as we walked out to the ocean. It created such a fun, relaxing atmosphere.The only recommendation I have is to send out the beach chair rental link earlier. We didn’t realize you can’t set up your own chairs in the water, and we were told the front-row chair rentals are often reserved months in advance. Thankfully, that didn’t take away from our experience at all. We’re huge ocean people, so we spent most of our time on the beach rather than at the pool.All in all, this was an incredible stay. We would absolutely come back and give it 10 stars if we could!

A perfect week at the beach! Check-in was easy, location terrific. Kris and Jen are wonderful to deal with. we had a minor plumbing issue but the response was great. fixed very quickly. My family stayed here during fall break. It was so nice and we loved that the beach and pool were so easily accessible. The owners were easy to contact and the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here in the future!

Top notch

Great property: wonderful views, perfect location, clean and well stocked apartment, new appliances, nice furniture, tastefully decorated … everything was beautiful and helped us have a fantastic family vacation. And most importantly, Jen and Kris are the best hosts. I relaxed so much that I forgot all my jewelry in the apartment when leaving. Realized it while we were driving home, contacted the hosts, and they promptly and graciously helped us get the jewelry back (the cleaners found it and returned it to us). Impeccable service, kind and understanding hosts, honest and courteous cleaning crew. We will be back again and again. Highly recommend this property and these hosts.
