Incredible view of the bay, easy check in, clean, and you're able to enjoy the great dock down at the water's edge. Would definitely stay there again in the summer.

The apartment was clean,instructions for entering were clear and the elevator to the second floor apartment above the garage was appreciated for taking luggage and food upstairs. This worked out perfectly for our short 3 night stay in Irondequoit; will gladly stay again.

The garage apartment was nice, clean, and well-equipped. The spiral metal stairway was difficult to manage if you have anything in your hands BUT there is an elevator for one person at a time that you can use, so it was fine. We enjoyed our stay there, and the bay was beautiful from the window. The outside wasn't well maintained, and we could not figure out how to go down to the water, but we spent our time on the trails and at the lake, so it was okay. The communication with the host was great.

this stay was good!! the hosts were super nice and responded quickly when texted. the apartment was above the garage separated from the host house so had a lot of privacy but i think this caused quite a bit of spiders in the house. they were harmless but we found about 7 on the ceiling around the tv. the elevator in the apartment was so nice and convenient. my only complaints are that the floor seemed to be very dirty, our baby was covered in dirt after an hour of being on the floor and our feet were very dirty after walking around. overall, we would stay here again and plan to in the fall!

Cute studio overlooking the bay. Close to everything. The hosts were friendly and responsive. This will definitely be our place to stay next time we visit my daughter.

This house was beautiful, and the scene was breathtaking. Walking down to the water was easy. The lights that lead down the path was a plus. I would definitely book again next summer.

Gorgeous view of the bay.

Apartment was perfectly sized for a couple looking to get away. Location is easily accessible to 590 highway and has a fantastic view looking out over Irondequoit Bay. We loved the windows and style of the apartment.

Anniversary getaway

We had a great 3 nights celebrating our anniversary. The apartment is clean and has all necessities. Its a short drive to restaurants and such. Nice view of the bay. The elevator was a godsend for my wife and me.

Very clean, spacious studio apartment, beautiful views, peaceful location

Wonderful place to stay for our visit to the Rochester area! Beautiful view of the bay. So much better than a hotel room. The location of the apartment gave it a very private feel, like renting a whole house. Very nicely remodeled, just like the pictures! We didn't use the kitchen items, but from what I could tell it's well stocked with the basics. Close enough to the city to be within a 20 minute drive of everywhere we wanted to go, yet the area is quiet with not too much traffic. Host was very prompt in replying to a question we had. We'd definitely stay again!

Misrepresentation

Poor access! A metal spiral staircase followed an entry through a dirty garage and no working elevator. Place was dirty with very little furniture. 3 old towels available and 1 wash cloth! I could go on! The view was good.

Good location but no water access

The good: The location of the property is great, close to downtown Rochester and Lake Ontario. Checkin was easy and host was responsive throughout our stay. The not so good: We booked this particular property due to it's lake/bay front access. Unfortunately, despite the VRBO description, the entire lakefront is under construction and not accessible. The property listing should have been updated/accurate to note construction. We would have stayed somewhere else if we had known.

Roomy studio - great view of Irondequoit Bay

This property exceeded our expectations! There's lots of space to spread out and the wall of windows overlooking Irondequoit Bay made the unit seem even larger. The unit is over a garage that the owner uses for equipment storage. There is an elevator for exclusive use of guests renting the studio that is accessed through the garage. It worked great during our stay! The kitchen area has a two-burner stove and enough pots, pans and utensils, to prepare small meals. The host supplies coffee, filters, sweeteners and creamer. The unit was spotless and everything looked brand new. We picked it because we wanted to be close to the water and we got exactly what we wanted, with a bonus of a very spacious, new studio, and a friendly host.

Pros:- The view was beautiful. Even saw eagles.- Central location to just about anywhere in Rochester.Cons: (in order of importance)- There were 3 entrances, exterior into 2nd story of garage, interior garage access to spiral staircase, elevator that ran to all 3 floors, 3rd floor was the apartment. The interior garage door did not function correctly. When i managed it to get it to lock, it would (mysteriously) come unlocked during the night. I contacted the host twice and he did not even attempt to fix. He told it probably needed fresh batteries. The last night i heard it unlock so i went out and bought a new battery. That did not fix the issue. Security is paramount and this guy couldnt be bothered. After trying to fix it myself, i ended up calling a friend for a place to stay.- Misrepresented. The pics show a gym area. I dont know where that gym was but it wasnt on the second floor. That garage was completely full with furniture, home goods, and clothes, all just stacked in a mess. Not a good vibe, like someone was kicked out of their home or something. Even had an open suitcase. Weird.- Not properly cleaned. Dirt under sofa cushions, food left in freezer, and pots and pans were greasy.- Insufficient supplies, upon arrival i had 1/2 roll of tp and no kitchen trash bags. I did have coffee so at least there was that.- TV was VERY small and not able to be viewed from the sofa or bed. Under circumstances i just described, I felt very unsafe at this apartment.

Great view

The property is very nice - new and clean. It was in a convenient location for me with a pretty view. Communication with the owners and gaining access to the property was all great. The only thing lacking was a comfortable place to sit by the water. The owner said they were in the process of renovating this area.

A great weekend getaway for couples

Steve was a great host; easy to communicate with and very accommodating! The view was stunning! The room was extremely spacious, and we had everything we needed supplied in the room. We would definitely rent again for a future weekend escape. It's a very tranquil environment!
