SE Division Hideaway

Le Hideaway est un appartement au sous-sol indépendant merveilleusement propre, confortable et privé, attaché à une plus grande maison. L'espace de plus de 700 pieds carrés est situé au cœur de SE Portland. Une promenade facile jusqu'à SE Division Street qui offre tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin ou que vous souhaitiez, y compris un excellent café, des restaurants, des brasseries, des magasins vintage, des boutiques, des théâtres, des parcs, des transports en commun et plus encore. Les épiceries sont juste en bas de la rue au magasin New Seasons ou au marché populaire. Situé à quelques pâtés de maisons d'un couloir de vélo désigné, avec des locations de vélos «Biketown» disponibles à trois pâtés de maisons. L'endroit est à la fois urbain et paisible.

Le stationnement dans la rue du quartier est gratuit et spacieux.

Notre objectif est de créer un espace confortable et serein où vous pourrez vous détendre après une journée d'exploration de la ville.

L'appartement est idéal pour 2 personnes avec un lit queen-size de style hôtel somptueux dans la chambre privée, mais peut accueillir confortablement 4 personnes en utilisant le canapé-lit dans le salon.

This apartment suite was perfectly appointed! It is very close to shops and delicious eats. It was very quiet and cozy and for the price it was very much a value! Nancy the owner was kind and greeted and us and if we had needed anything I felt she was very accessible. The apt was also aesthetically pleasing great library of books and I used some of the Portland books to look up nearby things to do. Bed was unbelievably comfort and for me the sofa pullout was pretty good for extra guests. I would stay here again hands down.

This apartment is perfectly located in a great walkable neighborhood in Portland, so much to do in just a short distance. The bed was so comfy, we slept so well! My sister in law slept on the Sofa Bed and said it was a nice, comfortable bed as well.Having access to laundry and perhaps a toaster oven would make life easier, but this property is perfect for a short stay in Portland!!!

Basement unit with low ceilings was a bit of a challenge for my traveling companion who is 6'-9" but he managed and we had a great stay.

This was exactly what we needed - a comfortable, affordable getaway. Everything was well-maintained, the decor was simple and pleasant without clutter, and everything we wanted was provided. We had a couple of questions, and Nancy, our host, was very responsive.We ended up spending several evenings just relaxing and playing board games. The walk to the front door past the gardens is lovely, and really set the tone for us each day as we headed out to explore Portland.The neighborhood is perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Since I have celiac, I appreciated *four* dedicated gluten-free restaurants in walking distance! I have fragrance sensitivities, but didn't inform the host as they have been improving. No worries - the apartment was naturally clean and fresh, with no perfumes except in the soaps that the host provided. Since I travel with my own fragrance-free products, we just used those and I had no issues - and wouldn't have had issues even if I'd been more sensitive right then. We did hear some footsteps overhead at a few points, but that's to be expected in a basement apartment. The host was quiet, and we had no trouble resting and relaxing and enjoying our 21st anniversary vacation. I will definitely check for availability here first the next time we stay in Portland!

As I said to the owner, I was unaware that this was a basement unit. The bathroom was tiny as was the sink. However, I can see the work that was put into remodeling this basement and they did a nice job. The living space with smart TV was particularly nice for my family. The bedroom was comfortable. Though, when we arrived the heat did not work. I was blamed for not knowing how to work it. I do not appreciate that.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’d like to provide some clarification for future guests. I contact all guests the day after arrival to confirm that everything is comfortable. When concerns were later raised about the mini-split heating system, I responded promptly with guidance and an offer to assist. At the time of my visit, the apartment was warm and the system was functioning as designed. The heating system has continued to operate normally for guests before and after this stay. The listing photos accurately reflect the bathroom, and I have confirmed the apartment’s basement location is clearly noted in the description so guests can determine whether it suits their preferences. As a courtesy, I provided a one-night refund after the guest expressed dissatisfaction. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. to allow sufficient time for cleaning and same-day arrivals. When the apartment had not yet been vacated by 11:15 a.m., I reached out to coordinate, and the departure followed at 12:10 p.m. Clear communication and accurate listings are important to me, and I encourage guests to review the description carefully and reach out at any time so concerns can be addressed promptly.
