A wonderful stay in a delightful area. John was a very responsive host and suggested many restaurants - many of which we dined at and enjoyed thoroughly! We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful home.

The house is well stocked (dishes, towels, blankets, etc) and in a great location. Easy walk to the pool and easy drive to restaurants. We got in late after a day of travel and no real meals, so it was a great touch ton leave us with a welcome basket with snacks and fresh fruit.

Amazing Property and loved the location. Workout facilities and pool with hot tub and bbq. Close to great restaurant and shopping. Easy access to the loop 101 and 51 freeway. Twenty minutes to the airport.

We were in Phoenix for surgery and treatments at Mayo Clinic Hospital, and John made a difficult trip so much easier. He was patient, responsive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean—it was a peaceful place to rest during challenging days. Highly recommend.

Nice VRBO

Well appointed rooms were all we hoped for. There is no hot tub as advertised on VRBO our only complaint. Pool was large and nice. Weather didn't cooperate first 7 days but was great last 7 days. Garage was great to have. Location was good for grocery stores and a big mall.

Thanks for the review John. We strive to provide a well appointed home and work hard to advertise accurate information. We are glad you liked the location to the mall and grocery store. And are pleased you liked the 2 car garage. Unfortunately the hot tub is only available for renters who stay 6 months who gain access to the late clubhouse. We did let you know in advance of the policy and would have let you out of the agreement to stay. We hope you join us again in the future. We also hope the weather cooperates for you next time.

Great Winter Desert Hiking Getaway

We loved our “Home” in Desert Ridge that looks exactly like the pictures in person!! We needed a open floor-plan dog friendly home base for our Hiking holiday in a quiet area close to State or National parks/preserves…as we don’t like busy places! We like to relax at home and cook dinners so the well stocked open kitchen was perfect! Libby kindly listed some good close late lunch places like Modern Margarita & Hulu’s Tiki Bar just down on High Street… the Tavern in the Marriott has great burgers too!

Five Stars Is Not Enough !

My experience of renting Libby’s beautiful condo for the month of March can be described as nothing less than “exceptional” in every way! From the initial communications we had prior to booking, to her professionalism and responsiveness to any of my questions or concerns before and during our stay, to the comfort that this well designed 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, living room, patio and amazing kitchen offered us, to the security we felt staying in a gated community surrounded by kind and friendly neighbors… Everything was there to accommodate our needs and to give us a wonderful “home away from home”! The location of the unit was close to walking trails and a local heated community pool with outdoor grill area. And, it’s location also offered easy access to major highways and to a wonderful nearby Marketplace of stores and restaurants that can address a visitor’s every need. Libby’s unit gave my husband and I … and our 4 grandkids… a wonderful taste of AZ living!!

Would we stay here again? Absolutely YES!

Light, airy and refreshing are a few words to describe the first impressions you’ll receive as you enter the 2nd floor living space. This, after you’ve had a chance to pull into a wonderful garage and make your way past the super convenient laundry room. Well appointed kitchen, extremely comfortable King Bed (we only used one bedroom during our stay), walk-in closet adjacent to Master Bath. The deck off the living room/bedroom is cozy. Limited direct sun provided a fantastic resting point after a day spent hiking, golfing or shopping. Large screen SmartTv provided for great entertainment. Desert Ridge is a remarkable location for restaurants, access to hiking, golf and driving. Easy access to Highway 51 and the 101 loop just minutes away. The pool area and community grill were both used and appreciated. On the one occasion we reached out to our host for assistance, we were taken care of promptly. So in the end, this is a property we’ll look forward to staying in again soon!
