Tout est nouveau !!!Emplacement parfait face à l'océan au centre de Fripp Island, SC, 413 Captain John Fripp Villa. La plage de sable blanc est votre arrière-cour et la piscine est juste à l'extérieur de la villa. Superbes vues sur l'océan depuis le patio. Il y a une cuisine complète, buanderie, salon et salle à manger. Les deux chambres sont à l'étage. Chaque chambre a une salle de bain complète. La villa peut accueillir 6 personnes.  Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon. Profitez de la plage privée, du golf, du tennis et des piscines, en voyant les cerfs et les dauphins, les oiseaux et d'autres animaux sauvages. Découvrez le complexe familial en bord de mer préféré des Lowcountry - Fripp Island Resort. Wonderful Stay!

We loved staying in this property! It was easy access to the beach and the Sandbar! I love that it was dog friendly and my dog had plenty of space to roam around! The island is very dog friendly which I LOVE! Will definitely be returning back to this property.

From check in to check out this has been one of my favorite trips. The host were very accommodating to our needs and answered all the questions we had. We loved drinking our coffee on the outside patio while watching the waves crash and the sounds of the ocean just steps away. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Fripp!

Villa was very clean and well appointed. Everything you need is supplied. Owner texted to ask if i had any questions. Perfect location with easy access to the best beach area. Only small negative is being right next to the beach club pool. Music can be loud, but during our stay it stopped at 10. Honestly didnt bother us. We sat on patio with cocktails and enjoyed the music. View from patio and master bedroom are amazing.

Good for night owls

Property itself was fine- lovely views, many conveniences (beach chairs and umbrella), updated and nicely decorated - but could use a deeper cleaning. Not a great location for my kids- right next to the pool bar with nightly entertainment until midnight. I would consider renting this property again if the events committee moves nightly entertainment back inside, as it was before COVID, but will check the events calendar before booking this property next summer.

We are purchasing new windows this window which will help with the noise from the beach club. In addition, we are adding white noise machines to the bedrooms. We hope you will come back.

Relaxation with a View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside Villa! The condo is nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The back patio area is great; it is small but it worked well for 4 adults. It has a lovely view of the marsh and to be able to hear the ocean just beyond (plus catch a glimpse of the waves) was very relaxing. The Capt John Fripp Villas is very conveniently located on the island and there is much to explore, even if you do not get the amenity cards. This condo offers beach chairs and bikes for extra convenience! My only “warning” would be that the beach bar next door is real close to the back patio and the music plays all day- but you can’t hear it from inside. (Might if it’s a live band) We will definitely return for another stay!!

I’ve stayed at John Fripp Villas my whole life- this could have been better.

MOLD !! -Im never one to leave a negative review but this trip wasn’t our best. I booked this for the ocean front. Upon arrival we couldn’t locate our golfcart and it wasn’t in the designated spot. I texted the property manager asking where it could be and she replied “in your parking spot” as if I had not looked there. Eventually they came and located the cart as it was not moved into our space. A few days past and my husband was feeling incredibly sick when we were in the condo. He took different allergy and Tylenol but nothing helped. He has a mold allergy and we quickly realized all vents were covered with black spotted mold inside and outside of the vents. He had body aches and was covered in hives on his face and back. He couldn’t sleep at night from joint pain caused by the mold. We left the property so that they could clean them. The manager never told us when we could go back to the property or followed up with us the following days. (The cleaning did help) we had to sleep with the window open for clean air. Coffee pot was broken or wouldn’t operate without the grinder cover that was not on the machine so I went to grab the extra coffee maker in the closet and there was a dirty filter left in it with mold everywhere and in the pot. I’m only leaving this review in hopes that they take action and to warn anyone with a mold allergy not to book this property. Overall not our best stay at John Fripp and unfortunately will not be booking again.

We were very disappointed to receive this review. We work very hard to make sure our guests have an enjoyable stay and respond quickly to any reported problems. When you texted about the golf cart, we answered that it is normally in the parking spot for the villa but we had someone there within 10 minutes to locate the golf cart next to your vehicle in the adjacent spot. It should have been in the correct spot and we are taking steps in our process to make sure it is for future guests. Each property is thoroughly inspected between guests. The mildew (not mold) on the HVAC vents develops quickly in the hot humid environment especially when guests leave the sliding glass doors open. When we were alerted to the visible mildew, you said you were going to town. We asked if you husband was also allergic to bleach and we received an affirmative reply that he was not. We thoroughly cleaned the vents of all mildew. Sadly by leaving the windows open for fresh air you actually exasperated the condensation issue that led to the mildew. If you decide to visit Fripp Island again, please let us know and we will make sure you have a fantastic trip.

Good experience

Really enjoyed the property it was close to the Sandbar so we could hear them until midnight. Wasn't bad for me as I sat outside and listened to the music.

Deer Watch

This property could use a little TLC and a good clean but the view is down right perfect and if you like to cook most of all you would need they have available. Plenty of pot and pans and even storage containers. I will say if you want after dark quiet time this is a little close to the adult pool for that, on the other hand, if you like music and don't mind the noise you can sit and enjoy the bands until bed.

Lovely condo and location—Loud music at night

The property is very nice with a lovely view of the ocean and easy access to the beach and pools. Warning— the condo is directly next to the adult pool which features extremely loud live music concerts almost every night of the week until midnight.

Great for adults who plan to be up late

Great location in middle of island. Nice condo though not cleaned very well. Only other complaint is the description did not mention that the condo is right next to the CJF pool and bar area. The music was so loud that the kids could not sleep until it stopped at some point past midnight. For adults who plan to stay up, it would have been perfect.

We really enjoyed our trip to 314 CJFV! Probably one of the better stocked condos we’ve ever rented. Location was great, waking up to sunrise from window and patio every morning. Only thing that was a little aggravating was not having a half bath downstairs. It seems the laundry room used to be a half bath and that would have been a tremendous help, especially with 2 small kids needing to come in off the beach to use the restroom. Otherwise it was perfect and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice villa to rent!
