Le Truman’s Hideout est Ă  seulement quelques pas des nombreuses boutiques de Seaside, de l'amphithĂ©Ăątre et directement en face de 30A depuis l'un des accĂšs Ă  la plage de Seaside et le cĂ©lĂšbre restaurant Bud & Alleys.

Idéalement situé entre les villes de Destin et Panama City Beach, Seaside est l'un des nombreux quartiers exclusifs le long de 30-A. Les trottoirs et les espaces verts entourent le bord de mer et sont parfaits pour marcher, faire du jogging et faire du vélo dans les restaurants et les magasins à proximité.

Truman’s Hideout est un condo 2BR / 2BA avec accĂšs par ascenseur qui peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes. Lorsque vous entrez dans le condo, vous entrez dans un salon spacieux qui a une cuisine ouverte (coin bar pour 3 seulement) avec une vue imprenable sur le golfe du Mexique. Le salon a un canapĂ©-lit Queen pour vos invitĂ©s supplĂ©mentaires et la laveuse / sĂ©cheuse empilable sont cachĂ©es dans un placard juste avant le couloir. La salle de bains commune dispose d'une douche et d'une porte donnant sur la chambre de la Reine. Le Queen Master est de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© du couloir avec sa propre salle de bain privĂ©e.

Great Location, Wonderful Stay

Our stay at "Truman's Hideout" was nothing short of perfect! The location is unbeatable. Everything is in walking distance, just steps away to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house was perfect for our needs. We had 2 teenage boys who had the freedom to do their own thing while we enjoyed our quiet time at the beach. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. This property is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Seaside. Highly recommend.

Run Down, Very dirty carpet and hardwood - our socks were black after walking around awhile. There are also these giant transoms over all the windows that let in so much light when someone turns on the light in the kitchen, it lights up the bedrooms.Took 2 days to get my pool passes. Didn't refund me for the 2 days - only partial, but they said they'd refund for 2 days. The room with the Queen bed - the bed is SO hard. The carpet in the hallways is a trip hazard - they are loose squares and turning up on the corners.LOCATION WAS AMAZING THOUGH - JULY IS INSANE THERE - CONSIDER OFF SEASON.

Needs TLC and better parking.

We have been visiting Seaside, often biannually, since 1998. Truman's Hideout is not the usual Seaside vibe. Housekeeping and the Cottage Rental Agency are located in the same building. It feels like you are in a busy transit area. Our rental vehicle was hit three times while parking in the assigned space.

Perfect Location

This location is 100/10. Literally steps from the beach, in the heart of the square! We never had to get in the car! The kids had an absolute blast! The condo itself is a bit outdated, but beds were comfortable and we had all all that we needed. I suggest for the rental co or owners to add a few portable fans. The bedrooms stayed very cool, however the living room does get about 5 degrees higher than the thermostat setting due to the sun coming in during the afternoon, but we understand that is Florida in the summer! We will be back!

Perfect location

Can’t beat this location! Convenient and close to everything! It is right next to the square and just across the street from beach access. Just steps to shops, food trucks, etc. We never had to drive anywhere unless we went out of town. The unit felt spacious enough for my family of four, the rooms are a good size and have very high ceilings. Not entirely sure what they mean by “ocean views” in the listing, though. You might get a glimpse of the ocean from the kitchen windows maybe, but that’s about it. Regardless, it’s a great location.

Comfortable and Close To Everything

The location of Truman's Hideout is nearly unbeatable. It's very close to the beach pavilion, Airstream food trucks, shopping, restaurants, and a very short bike ride from Watercolor. The rental was well furnished for any occasion and a comfortable and relaxing place to spend time. Three nitpicky things I would change are 1) Steam clean the carpets 2) Upgrade the main bed from queen to king 3) Replace the uncomfortable shower head in the second bathroom to a better one. We used the bikes a few times and found them to be a fun and enjoyable part of the stay. One had a slightly low tire but we soldiered on with it that way. Overall we had a great time staying here and will probably try to get the same property on our next visit.

Great location

This unit is a 2 minute walk to the beach, downtown restaurants and shops. The bikes were convenient, once we figured out which ones to use. They should identify which bikes go with this unit. The propane tank for the gas grill was empty, but maintenance showed up within an hour to replace it. Overall, nice unit for the price,

Like other reviews said the unit is a little bit run down but we were aware of that going into it. The ac unit didn’t work the first night but they refunded us for that night without us even asking. The man that fixed the ac said he installed a new unit two years ago so they have updated it. We loved the location and would stay here again.

Broken AC and dirty place

This property needs to be taken off the rental list until it has a complete remodel. The AC was broken so we had to move to another rental until our last day when we had to move back. The carpet patches were disgusting and there were bugs in the huge light in bedroom. They need to put shades or a tint on the living room top windows due to the heat coming inside during the day. The managing office was very nice and helpful with the exception of a very rude maintenance guy. I own rental property myself and I would never rent out this place in its current condition. The owners of the property should be ashamed to say they own it. When I stay in Seaside I expect top notch properties. In the many years we have come to Seaside this has been our only bad experience.

We love Truman’s Hideout

The location of Truman’s Hideout is perfect, just across the street from the public beach access and right across from food trucks and the Seaside town center. Checkin and checkout have always been easy. We were concerned about the a/c at one point. After creating a report we had a technician out shortly who solved the problem and all worked fine after. The pullout couch is ready for replacement. We use that for our boys ages 11 and 13. That’s the only thing I took away a star for. Everything else is wonderful. We have stayed at this property 3 years in a row.

Perfect location, especially if you have a teenager! Our girls and visiting friends had a blast being able to walk to and from the square with all the happenings! I absolutely loved being able to walk to everything! The beach, shops, restaurants, even a spa right underneath the condo! I had a bike ride that was so refreshing! First one in many many years! So the bikes were a definite delight! Everything was nice and clean. If I had suggestions, they would be; Complete cable on all tv's and leather sofas so stains from previous renters won't show. Otherwise....it was awesome! Met the Maintenance guy...he was friendly and very nice! Oh, plenty of closet space, which I always need! 😁👗👜👙🛍👠👡

Condo is in need of updating . Carpet is in very bad condition - I would stay with hardwood . Condo was not very clean either . Remove or couches and go with a leather or something that can easily be cleaned . Kitchen area is in disrepair as well . Parking is terrible ! Should have a couple of spaces dedicated to the condo.
