Perfect for our need for a private get away. Home was very clean and well-maintained. Excellent communication from the host even notifying us it was ready before our scheduled check-in.

Just a heads up for anyone reading: the beach is only about a two-minute drive from the house. We recommend driving since you'd have to cross a busier road on foot, and since we do provide beach gear, it's way easier to just load up the car and head to one of the free public beach accesses nearby. There are tons of them up and down the Beach Road :)

Very cute place, two different renters below us with little to no noise. Enjoyed how accessible the beach was to us. Can be loud sometimes considering the main road is very close. But amazing stay. Definitely would visit again!

Thank you so much for the review! One quick clarification for future guests: the house sits well down the street, a very good distance from the main road. You really don't hear traffic at all unless you're outside and the wind happens to be blowing just right. Thanks again for staying with us we'd love to host you back :)

Very clean and excellent communication with host. Felt it was close to a busy highway and there was traffic noise. Stairs to apartment were rather weathered. Got a splinter Central proximity to area attractions was good.

A quick note for first-time Outer Banks visitors: The OBX is a narrow barrier island, so nearly every home sits close to both the Beach Road and the Croatan Highway (the main bypass). Don't let the word "highway" fool you, though. It's nothing like a busy city highway, just the main route connecting local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Our home is centrally located so everything is close by, yet tucked away enough to enjoy ocean views and plenty of privacy.

The accomodations exceeded our expectations-nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. It was the perfect size for 2! We really enjoyed the deck with comfortable seating. Our Quick Getaway here was amazing! We only stayed for one night but wished we could’ve stayed another night just to fully appreciate the place more! I loved how clean it was, as soon as i walked in i could tell just by the smell that the place was going to be spotless. It was a very convenient location, right in the heart of kitty hawk. the ocean is even visible from the deck which is a plus! Our host was super kind and kept me up to date on everything and let me know as soon as it was ready for us! My partner and I both agree we’d definitely stay here again.

Very detailed check-in instructions and super breezy check-out. The place was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable! The apartment rests on a hill so you get a great view of the ocean without the wind- this was perfect for our chilly November trip. Would stay again!

We felt like we were in our own home. Everything was absolutely perfect. Laid out excellently. Communication was over the top perfect. The description matches the property perfectly. Although we stayed in early May, it was an easy and direct walk to the public beach access. The property was clean, well furnished, and everything operated as promised. There is a wonderful view of the sunrise from the deck. It is in close proximity of Bagel restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It was our first trip to Kitty Hawk, but when we are in town again, we'll book this residence again. Big thanks to the host for answering all our questions quickly!
