The Village Flat *BEST SPOT IN WNY!*

Located in Amherst, NY (in the top 5 safest cities in the US), this trendy 900-sq.ft. flat is in the heart of the historic Williamsville village. Enjoy all the buzz of Bflo/NF's steps from your door, then cozy up in your private and charming retreat!

The space
The Village Flat is a 900-sq.ft apartment located on the 2nd floor of our carriage house behind our home. Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, this 2 bedroom/1 bath comes equipped with everything you need to have an amazing experience here in the village we love so much!

Entrance: You won't miss the cute Yellow Door and hanging flower baskets as you enter your private flat on the ground floor via Electronic Key Pad. So easy!!! Access to the Laundry room and extra storage are located on the ground level. To enter the flat, proceed up the charming painted stairs and you'll notice your welcome sign on the landing chalkboard. Welcome to the Village Flat!! :)

Kitchen: Upon entering the flat, you'll notice the bright and cheery updated kitchen fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to make your morning coffee fix, stay-in dinners, or late-night popcorn snack. (Spices and all!) There is a Refrigerator with Freezer, Oven/Stove-top, Microwave, Sink and lots of cabinet/pantry space to store your groceries. We have a lot of great appliances: Blender, hot water kettle, coffee pot, hand mixer...even a Crock Pot! We try our best to provide you with the conveniences of home, but if there's something you're missing, please don't hesitate to ask. We may very well have what you need! :)

Dining Area: Eat-in kitchen table with 4 charming chairs. While you're having your morning breakfast, take a peek at the wooden box on the table with lots of local attraction brochures. I've included some of my favorite tourist destinations in the area, but I'm always happy to share many more of my 'local' favorites.

Mini-Bar: Right next to the kitchen you'll find our little bistro table, chairs and mini-bar...a perfect spot to unwind over a glass of wine and talk about your next adventure. Because we think you're really super, we've included 1 complementary bottle of wine on the table. We'd also encourage you to check out the unique Cabernet Cafe next door to taste some local wines...make sure you say hello to Cathy!

Living Room/Mini-office/Workout gear: Spacious and cozy, this space has plenty of seating to watch a little TV (50 inch flat screen!) or start that book you've been meaning to get to! Right off of the living room, we've provided you with a little creative mini-office space to accommodate your work needs (if you REALLY have to do work on your vacation...boooo!) with a desk & fast Fios WIFI. (WiFi code will be provided) Feel free to check out the books, oldie-but-goodie DVD's, and games we've left for you to use during your stay on the bookshelf. We also have some workout equipment (weights/exercise ball/mat) so you can feel a little better about yourself after you've eaten at some of the delicious spots nearby! We know you'll also enjoy the Nest Thermostat on the wall behind the couch where you can easily control the temps!

Bathroom: Updated/Full bathroom equipped with towels, shampoo, body wash, stool for children, hair dryer, toilet paper and kleenex. What else can I say...and it's a bathroom. ;)

Bedrooms: The Village Flat has 2 chic bedrooms with (in my humble opinion) comfy and cozy bedding. One with a king-size bed and desk and the other with a queen bed, 6-drawer dresser and chair. Both rooms have great closet space filled with some hangers, shoe organizer, and laundry bin.

Speaking of Laundry: There is a Washer, Dryer, Laundry Detergent, places to hang clothes, and a table to fold located on the ground floor of the flat. If you'd like us to show you how to use them, we'd be happy to do that upon check-in.

The Great Outdoors: While staying at the Village Flat, we're happy to share our back yard, outdoor table and four chairs with you during your stay. We also have 4 parks within a block from our house so there is plenty of space to play catch, enjoy a picnic, and soak in this beautiful Western NY sun and air!

This hidden gem of WNY is available all year round and provides a much more comfortable and authentic experience for your getaway compared to a boring hotel/motel setting. A multi-purpose space suitable for families, business travelers, romantic getaways and those seeking to explore all that this 'city of good neighbors' has to offer!

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire Rear Apartment and are invited to share the backyard, outdoor table and four chairs located in the grass. Between Nov. 1st - April 1st, guests will be provided with 1 parking spot in driveway. Between April 1st - Oct. 31st, guests can use street parking in front of the property.

Other things to note
Portable Crib can be provided upon request for the duration of your stay.

As a 'thank you' for choosing to stay with us, we provide all of our new friends with some local goodies upon check-in...one of which is a bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce because you can't say you visited the home of the 'Chicken Wing' without having Frank's to show for it!
