New Years week

Our family of 5 stayed here the week of new years. There was plenty of space for all of us. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms. We cooked many meals during our stay and felt the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. It was a little colder weather but was able to hot and swim in the headed pool. It would be nice if beach toilets were available to use. Overall wonderful place.

Nice location. Even with construction most of the amenities were able to be used. The only downfall is that sometimes construction started before 8 AM.

Summer Fun!

We had a wonderful stay and the unit was as expected. Plenty of room for our party of six. The only compliant I have is that the queen/full size bed needs a new frame. The mattress was not supported at all causing you to sink down in the middle. The location is wonderful and the condo is well equipped.

Can’t wait to return!

We had a group of 5. It was very spacious. Great location. We will definitely be coming back here. I can’t speak for the others but the master bed was super comfortable. We had one small maintenance issue that was taken care of right away. I highly recommend staying here! The pool and hot tub and beach were all great. We had an amazing time. The only problem was we had to come home

The check in experience was super simple and didn’t have to wait to check in or anything. Loved the decor and simplicity inside the condo. Didn’t like that there was not an inside deadbolt/lock for extra protection but was ok nonetheless. Loved that the condo had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so my kids had their own during our stay. I also ended up forgetting my kids’ sound machine that was pretty expensive and the condo offered to send it back to me. Very glad for the helpful staff!

great condo!

The Condo was really nice,clean and well maintained. There are a few things that need addressing. Patio door handle broken and patio does not lock. Pantry door was off track and would not close. Dryer lint compartment was full of lint and sand, the lint trap would not go all the way down. Overall it was a great place to stay. Would love to rent it again! Larry Moss August-2020

We had a few minor issues upon arrival but were handled right away. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. February is an iffy month for weather. Rather cool and foggy. Disappointed the pool wasn't open due to balcony repairs. With the weather being cool and the pool being closed it didn't give us much lounging outside time. Beach was gorgeous though and sand was white and soft. It was a relaxing vacation and an 8 hour drive was very, very doable.

Worst experience I've ever had in my life

By far the worst experience I've ever had. The property management came over unannounced and woke me up after a few hours of work for the cleaning business I own locally. On the living room I was surprised by 3 adults who have a lot of nerve walking in with me undressed and startled by the unannounced unwelcome Insulting tones and your not going to be able to believe that I was verbally abused, and laughed at until they got law enforcement officers to come by for absolutely no reason. They were laughing the whole time like evil people. I wouldn't wish this devastating vacation on anyone. I'm still dealing with legal questions about this one and I think it's a big problem for you and your family. I was accused of being a little more than just unusual and very interesting to me that I am a recovering addict from a very serious epidemic that occurred and I survived the addiction to be a part of the celebration that was behind the same vacation I had taken from me and bashed my sobriety on GP And judgement Insulating the same pattern as the other people who don't want to see the problems real American lives are experiencing. Constant fear of what they are going to be looked at for the simple fact they admitted that they had a good reason to change. I'm not going to forget the way I was treated for the rest of my life and a person who was a lot better for the job she decided to do with her own life and how cruel and how ignorant it is to be able to get past the HARDEST DISEASE I HAVE EVER HAD TO SURVIVE only to be laughed at and thrown in the street homeless and not even possible to get a little bit of the unspeakable amount of money they just kept for their banks to have more and rent it out again because you don't have any rights on a short term rental agreement and you can get asked to leave if you dont look like a conservative or a good person who doesn't have any idea what they are doing in the middle of a long epidemic and even a pandemic. Human decency has never been so much more unseen as the people don't want to be a person who has to work for a paycheck I did not deserve to be treated like I'm worthless no matter what and know who you have been judged by for the simple fact your not rich or important enough to have a good reason to care about the whole situation and how ignorant is the truth that I was booted out for nothing but opinion and mere speculation

What I Wish I Had Known

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have loved staying at Island Princess in the past but this was our worst experience yet. This condo was dated and surface clean, but the bedspreads, couches, chairs etc were very stained and very much in need of a deep cleaning. It was also not well equipped with basic needs such as salt and pepper, dish soap, beach towels or beach chairs and only one blanket that we could find in the whole condo. No iron or ironing board either. We stayed five days and they provided us with 3 garbage bags (we had to borrow from other condos) and 3 dishwasher pods...pretty stingy with their supplies. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable as well.We were with a large group in several other condos and saw so many more amenities in their condos such as large baskets full of beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys for people like us who flew to Florida and couldn't bring those things ourselves. Also, their condos seemed much more updated and newer.We were told that there was beach service (chairs and an umbrella put up for you) but they neglected to mention that it was an additional fee of $50 a day since it wasn't "in season."There was major construction going on with loud, shaking noise from 7 am throughout the day. Some elevators were not useable and construction dust and water and mess was everywhere in the corridors. We were warned about this ahead of time but not given any discount.The location on the second floor is convenient and close to the unit's parking place. The view of the beach is minimal though. Much better views in the condos that face the beach.We will not be booking this unit again--there are many other much nicer and better equipped condos for a similar price. Our advice...skip this one.
