This 5th-row ocean, custom-built escape is the epitome of southern island charm. The sweeping front porch with rocking chairs beckons you to unwind and move to the rhythm of the nearby waves. Immediately upon entering, you will find an open concept living space that directs you to a spacious screened in porch–perfect for entertaining–and overlooking an outdoor island sanctuary. Private and thoughtfully landscaped backyard, patio and pool area complete with *heated pool, and spa that easily accommodates 8, lawn fire pit, and shaded poolside pavilion with bar, flat screen TV, and grill. When you’re not basking in the truly great outdoors the main level has two king master bedrooms–one of which has an en-suite bath that includes a walk-in shower with separate claw foot 6’ soaking tub.
Along with 5A Hickory, this is an ideal spot for family gatherings. And both are just a short walk to the beach. Please inquire about having your family reunion at these beautiful homes when making your reservation.

We had an outstanding stay, enjoying the pool and the beach. The backpack chairs worked great for the beach. Only thing we needed was a beach umbrella/cover for the afternoon sun. This was an amazing property for our family get together.

The house is so spacious inside and outside. Our family loved the backyard. We played corn hole, enjoyed a fire, watched TV at the outside bar, swam everyday, used the spa. They provided plenty of toys and beach chairs. Lots of chairs on the screened porch for all of us. The house is in excellent condition and provides every amenity. We highly recommend this house!

The property was IDEAL for the family that was celebrating my 80th birthday! All of us thoroughly enjoyed the location of the beach house. David , the Host was excellent in any questions we had and responded promptly (within a half hour) of any questions we might have had. The property managers were very welcoming and communicative to us during our stay.The ONLY negative on our stay was that we had limited toiletries (soap, shampoo) for the week and washer (detergent) for a week’s stay, and essentials (paper towels, toilet paper) for the week that we had to purchase.This is a beautiful beach house property location that accommodated our 16 person family members nicely. The dining area is large where we could sit around the HUGH table together without having to split up at mealtime.We would certainly recommend this property to others hoping to have a nice intimate, individual, yet included ambiance for a family celebration and vacation.

Wonderful Stay during school vacation week!

We had a wonderful time at this property. We were all set with beach gear provided. The home was so lovely, clean and huge for our three families. The yard was another added bonus with the pool and spa! We will definitely want to come back and loved the short walk to the beach. Location couldn't be better where you can easily ride bikes or walk anywhere.

The house, pool, yard, location etc were all great and was a nice set up for our family vacation. We liked the island, community and the local facilities and plan on returning to the island for future vacations. I was a little disappointed in the responsiveness of the host. The first communication was a two part question in which he only answered the first question. It took another reach out to get the other answer. Then because of the weather we decided to have the spa turned on. The initial communications were great especially in how to pay him. Once paid he ignored my future responses. The pool company was to be there before 9AM they were not. I send a text and never recieved a response. However, soon afterwards the pool guy showed up. Later that day we noticed the spa wasn't heating up properly and I send the host another text. No response. So we went the rest of our week with the spa not heating up properly and I decided not to waste anymore time on the texts. In addition, I thought the property managers were a little aggressive. The day before arrival they sent a text with a long dialogue about how busy they were and don't expect to get in the house until 4PM. And then asked when we were arriving. Then the day before check out they sent another text with more check out tasks that were not in the original instructions. Then they asked if we were leaving early. That didn't sit well with me.....kinda felt like I was inconviencing them.

The house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen, dining area and living room were open. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and spa were great. We did heat the pool. The beach was a short 5 minute walk. The house came with beach chairs and wagons.

Our stay at 5B Hickory was excellent. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The property manager was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The pool and hot tub were great. The kids loved the boat themed bunk room. We're looking forward to coming back!

Anne & I started in 2014 with our first house at 27 Pelican St. In Spring of 2016 we built our little compound on Hickory Lane (my sister in law built 5A and we built 5B). Since then we have built one additional home at 15 Flamingo St. in North Forest Beach.

This property is unique in that is built like a low country cottage with over 1,100 sq. ft. of screen and open porches. it is fenced in with it's sister cottage 5A to create a small compound.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Only 5 rows to the ocean, gate right onto the bike path in S. Forest Beach. The lot is over a 1/3 of an acre, so there is almost 2 times as much space as most lots in N. Forest beach. It has a pavilion, fire pit and a nice pool with attached spa, lush landscaping.
