This gorgeous condo on the 9th floor of the St. Lucia building features spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and, Destin and the bay! This immaculate 3 bedroom and 3 bath condo has been updated with shabby chic décor, all new furniture, paint and so much more! You will truly be vacationing in luxury in this home at the highly desired St. Lucia building in Silver Shells.

Each bedroom has floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the water. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and a full en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and a full bathroom in the hallway with a walk-in shower. Around the corner is the beautiful master bedroom with a full bathroom featuring both a walk-in shower, tub and a separate vanities.

The condo faces West, so you will have a perfect sunset all year long! There is balcony access from the living area and guest bedrooms rooms. The living room has a full sized pull out sleeper sofa, so the condo will comfortably sleep 8.
The open living area features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious living room and dining room, all with amazing views of the water. The laundry room has a full-size washer/dryer and is also conveniently located off the kitchen area.

Lucia building at Silver Shells Beach Resort has its own pool and hot tub. Beginning fall 2020 the lagoon pool will be seasonally heated. Other amenities also include a children’s pool, community hot tub, and free Wi-Fi. Also on-site is the World famous Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Close to popular shopping and dining venues, award winning golf courses, and lots of activities for children and adults alike — Silver Shells St. Lucia 906 is perfect for your next family beach vacation!! Silver Shells features six condominium towers named after the Virgin Islands, and is known as one of the premier resorts in Destin!

Our stay in Destin

Overall a good experience, the building has great amenities-pool, gym ect. FYI the private beach cost 60 for a chair and umbrella rental and they do not provide beach towels, nor does the rental.I was nervous after reading some of the reviews, but it seems the owner took note and increased the kitchenware. But no basic cooking ingredients, which ive seen at other VRBOs but more of a heads up for anyone renting this property. The property was clean and updated from some od the previous reviews. Comfy beds!

Poor description/cleanliness

Booking was described as having 2 queen bedrooms and 1 King. The 2 queen rooms were not- they were both smaller beds (probably full). The couch was dirty and stained. The pull out mattress had what was described as blood stains. I did not get a picture of that. We had to get an air mattress. The property itself was wonderful, this unit, however, was not.

Great Relaxing New Years

My family and I decided to take a quick getaway for New Years and we are happy we did. The unit was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The views of the Gulf and the sunsets were amazing as well as the view of the firework shows in Destin Harbor. Aside from the one small hiccup when the curtain and curtain rod in the kitchen fell on my wife as she was making coffee, we had a great time! We plan to return again next year for New Years!

Great condo

Condo was very accommodating for my girls trip with my mom and sister! Very clean and very nice! Comfy beds too!!! The only negative thing I can say so there was NO communication with the host. I reached out a few times with questions and got no response. Other than that, it was perfect!!!

Overall 10/10

We typically stay at a waterfront location but this was just as good and we all agree that we would stay here again. The place was overall very clean and nice. The water in the kitchen does not get hot and the master tub was not all that clean. Other than these minor things everything here was just about perfect. Would absolutely recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The tv/internet connection was awful! Sand in the master bathroom upon arrival. AC did not keep up with temperature required it would get to 78 during the day. We had lots of bath towels but only 5 face towels for our 8 person family. Upon arrival, yes we did get in 2 hours early but the guy that let us in made sure to let us know that, not very cool. We will not stay here again. Not terrible but for the money it left a lot to be desired.

Long Weekend in Destin

The ocean view condo was in a good location with excellent outdoor amenities and convenient private beach access. The view is limited ocean view with predominate views of parking areas and heavy commercial. Check in process was a breeze. The unit was a bit smaller than expected but worked out just fine as the second couple who planned to join us couldn't make it. The unit was surface clean, but in need of a deep clean in some areas - particularly the kitchen and the living area couch. Beds were great. Dish TV was unreliable, so be prepared to connect your own service if you want to watch regular TV. The unit was generally well equipped but for the size unit some supplies were a little stingy - one dish towel and no dishwasher detergent. I made four attempts to get a couple simple pre trip questions answered in the VRBO app and directly to the host via email, and never heard back. Overall, it worked out fine, but wouldn't select this unit or management company again.

Nice place!

The property has a beautiful view of the gulf and was clean. When we arrived, we noticed the smoke detector batteries had been taken out of the main bedroom. I messaged the company and Aron got right back to us. He came by and fixed that, and while he was there, he asked if we needed anything else- which was so nice. I had noticed that the microwave light over the stove was out and Aron said he’d run to Home Depot and get a bulb which he did. A few days later, one of the sinks became clogged. I messaged again, and again Aron got right on it. The company that owns this condo is very lucky to have him! The only negative I can say is that the skillets and baking dishes were in terrible shape. We had to go to Target and buy some new ones to cook. Other than that, we had a very nice stay.

VERY PLEASED!

We’re used to staying at the St. Marten building and having the beach view and the elevator going straight to your room. But you actually did have a lovely view of the water from this condo and it was beautiful! We also enjoyed the view of the City and the strip! And it wasn’t a big deal taking an elevator we were just a bit spoiled. The walk to the pool was short and through the lovely gardens. The price difference between the two buildings makes this condo well worth it! It was very nicely decorated and well stocked. Even included roll away beds. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
