BEAUTIFUL FAMILY VACATION HOME, private dock on Lake Glenville, 5 Bed, 3 Bath

Escape on The Lake is a beautiful secluded property set on part of a 3 acre estate with a private dock and a home to amaze. The entire house has been completely renovated with a modern comfort design that will invite guests to truly unwind, relax and make memories.

This 3 level house has everything you will need to make you feel at home. On the Main Level you and your guests will enter the front door to a fully equipped Kitchen, Family Room with a 60 inch Smart TV, French doors that lead out to the multi-level porch with a brand new gas grill, a Dining Room Area, and the Master Bedroom with an attached bathroom with a shower and tub combination.

On the Top Level, you will find a Queen Bedroom, a 2 Twin Bedroom, and a bathroom in the middle for guests to share.

On the Lower Level guests can utilize our Laundry Room equipped with a brand new extra large washer and dryer, an additional bedroom with a King Bed, a bathroom with a shower, and another bedroom with a Full Size Bed and a door that leads out on the lower-level porch with a porch swing and views of the Lake.

The house has central AC/Heat with a separate thermostat on each level. Guests will also have access to the Lake, deck with a fire pit and an array of outdoor activities and relaxation.

The perfect spot for our family on Lake Glenville!

My sisters and their families joined us for part of our stay and it was perfect for us! The house is very well stocked and right on the lake with a dock and plenty of toys to enjoy the water. We are planning on staying again next year! Michelle, thank you so much for hosting us in lovely home.

Perfect Lake House

We loved this property. Great lake access, fun swing and hammock, and super quiet. It was very relaxing with an amazing tree canopy. House was well stocked and owner was lovely.

Great House, Perfect location on Lake Glenville

I’ve been to Lake Glenville several times on vacation. It’s so beautiful and this house was really great. We had group of six ppl w three different friends so we all had our own room. Full Bath on each of the three levels adds privacy for each person. House is recently remodeled, very stylish with grey and blue tones, well equipped. The gas fireplace in livingroom is so nice, remote to turn on and off. Separate thermostats in each room for personal temperature selection. The Wi-Fi worked well. The galley kitchen is very spacious for a galley kitchen w lots of counter space. Lake access like most lake houses is a steep hill, but super nice lake area with private dock and sandy bottom to walk in with paddle boards. Nice cove to stay in or easy to venture out. We paddled to Norton Falls and it only took about 45 mins. So pretty. We loved this property and host Michelle was extremely responsive with any questions we had for her. I would definitely recommend this home as Lake Glenville getaway. Thanks Michelle.

Idyllic lake retreat

We had an amazing time at this gem of a house on Lake Glenville. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, well-stocked, immaculate, and very comfortable for our group of seven adults and two kids. All 9 of us easily fit around the dining table. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We had read that the hill down to the lake is steep, and indeed if my mother wasn't such a nimble 85-year-old, it would have been rough going. It was no problem for the rest of us. Signal Ridge Marina is a 20-minute kayak/SUP trip across the lake -- we rented a boat and did lots of waterskiing and wakeboarding around the lake. The mountains are gorgeous, and there are tons of beautiful hikes and waterfalls in the area. Hope we get to come back soon!

Lake is great!

We really enjoyed staying on the lake on our trip to NC this year. We’ve never stayed on Lake Glenville so it added a whole other element to the vacation. The house was great and the property manager was very responsive!

Family Fun!

The location and accommodations were wonderful. I booked this as a Christmas gift for my 2 children (and their spouses and kids). It was the perfect space for the 7 of us. The views from the deck/porch were amazing and the dock, large rubber raft, paddle boat and kayak afforded us the water/lake pleasures we wanted. We loved using the fire pit in the evenings and the hammock and swing were enjoyed by all of us. All of the furnishings and appliances were in new condition and directions for everything were really easy. The grill made dinners easy and the outside space for eating was super. Michelle was responsive when there were some issues. The Keurig did not work and she had it replaced within a day. This probably wouldn’t have been an issue but the 4-cup coffee pot was a bit small for the coffee lovers in this group. Also, there was an unpleasant odor in the lower level, but we think it was from a rug and Michelle had it picked up the next day. It seemed to dissipate thereafter. Michelle did include information upon booking as to the amenities which would be supplied. She indicated there would be two rolls of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I booked the space for 11 days. For a property listed to accommodate 10 people (and it seems like it could!) 2 rolls of toilet paper per 3 bathrooms for 11 days seems a bit unreasonable. The trip to a store is about 20 minutes. When my son asked her about it she was adamant that there were no deviations. When asked about the discrepancy with the paper towels, she quickly responded it was a misprint, but would reimburse. This is super minor but it seems for longer stays, it would be reasonable for a “best in class” place to accommodate appropriately. I would also mention the walk down (and up) is fairly steep and I hesitated to make the trip down and up more than once a day. The terrain is uneven and there is no real path. The grands (5 and 8) had no problem with it! "Escape on the Lake" for my family was FABULOUS!!!

Fantastic vacation!

We were very happy to have found this property! It has been completely renovated and very tastefully decorated. It is comfortable and cozy. Having the bedrooms on three levels allowed the family to be together but still maintain some privacy. It has good access and views to the lake, and a nice area by the lake to relax and enjoy the views. The property is well equipped, with a lot of attention to details including adequate kitchen and laundry supplies that were very much appreciated. They even left some crayons and coloring books for our 4-year old. She was definitely impressed! The manager provided very detailed instructions, and was attentive to all of our needs. It will definitely be on top of our list for any future trips to the area!

Great stay on Lake Glenville

Spent a week at Escape on the Lake in late August, 2020. Michelle was a great host and the property was super clean. We were two adult couples and the layout was great. Extra bedrooms could have accommodated more, but the “Great room” layout means you share the main living /dining /kitchen, so best shared with family or very close friends. Lakefront was nice with a floating dock and a small beach area for swimming or sitting by the lake. We rented a boat one day and were able to pull up right to the dock and walk up to the house for supplies. Michelle was nice enough to mail a shirt I left behind. Overall we had a very restful, secluded, comfortable week with a nice view of the lake. Highly recommended!

I have been vacationing at this property since I was 3 years old. It has always been a special place for my family and me. I now have a 3 year old and it is the best feeling seeing him doing the same things I did as a child. He loves exploring, playing in the lake, swinging on the swing, playing hide and seek and catching fire flies at night.

Every year my entire family travels from Florida to Lake Glenville to celebrate the 4th of July together at my parent's cottage located on the same property. We always have an amazing time and can't wait to share this beautiful location with you all. My favorite memories have been spent here and I am so happy to be able to have the opportunity to share it with you.
