The Space:

Luna Collect is a thoughfully designed one-bedroom apartment offers a tranquil space amidst the lively surroundings, giving you the best of both worlds. Its modern decor offer clean lines and a natural, minimalist charm. The bedroom features a king-size bed for a great night's sleep, while the cozy living area invites you to relax with a comfortable sofa and TV. The convenient kitchenette is perfect for preparing light meals and snacks.



Located just steps from historic landmarks like San Felipe del Morro and Paseo de la Princesa, you'll also find yourself surrounded by vibrant restaurants, bars, and shops. Whether you're here for history, culture, or a exciting escape, this apartment puts you in the heart of it all!



IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS APARTMENT IS ON THE STREET LEVEL - GUESTS WILL HEAR STREET NOISE, SPECIALLY FRIDAY TO SATURDAY, AND THAT IS PART OF THE CHARM!





LIVING SPACES



Upon entering this first-floor unit, you'll be greeted by an open-concept design encompassing the kitchenette, dining, and living area. The high ceilings with wooden beams are an iconic design feature of the colonial architecture that Old San Juan is famous for. The dining area features a simple dining table adjacent to the kitchenette. The living area includes a comfortable sofa and a flat-screen television. Air conditioning is available throughout the apartment.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Luna Collect Apartment offers one bedroom that comfortably accommodates two adults. The bedroom includes a king bed, air conditioning, and access to a full bathroom. It is a spacious bedroom that is well-appointed to ensure a good night's sleep.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHENETTE



The kitchenette at Luna Collect Apartment is both functional and stylish, featuring new cabinets and a green chic backsplash. It includes a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge (no ice maker), blender, 2-burner stove, and all the essentials to cook your favorite meals. We provide enough coffee, trash bags, and dish soap to start your stay comfortably.





GETTING AROUND



If staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, we recommend moving around via Uber. **This property does not include parking.**



IMPORTANT: If you need to rent a car, there are various paid parking garages around Old San Juan - pricing varies as some charge by the hour and others have a flat rate.





LOCATION



Staying in Old San Juan is a truly unique experience filled with charm and character. From Luna Collect Apartment, you can comfortably walk anywhere within Old San Juan. The apartment is located in the heart of it all, just steps away from all the action. We recommend taking a cab or Uber from the airport and using Uber while you stay at Old San Juan.



Renting a car is not necessary unless you are planning on road-tripping. This is a truly walkable location with everything you need a short walk away. The apartment does not include parking. Nonetheless, there are convenient parking lots close to the apartment.



There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:



Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must-do.



Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.



Breakfast at “La Mallorca”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.



Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.



Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Good Location - Need Some Fixings

The property is well located in Old San Juan, next to the streets where everything is happening. Communication from the property manager was excellent. But the property need some fixing to be enjoyed, 1st; There is no hot water in the shower but there is in the wash basin, seems an issue with the shower faucet. 2nd; The double main light switch is bad and it might turn on at night, property mgr. knew about this. 3rd; the AC drain pump makes a loud noise about every 45 min, so you wake up at night. 4th; The pillows are run down and very thin, causing us neck pain (king pillows with std covers, shows lack of details). With the last three issues we could not sleep well.
