Such a lovely place. A bright space with lovely amenities Spotlessly, clean lots of coffee to use, sweet furnishings, wonderful neighborhood peaceful and quiet loved it. Definitely recommend this place.

quiet peaceful getaway

i really enjoyed my stay here! it’s tucked away on a quiet street but close to everything you would want to do or eat in Riverhead. it was a plus having all the animals in the backyard and seeing how they are lovingly cared for by Agena. it doesn’t smell bad at all which shows how clean she keeps her home. the host thought of everything you would need so i didn’t need to ask for anything. there were plenty of towels and toiletries to use & a wonderful list of attractions and places to eat. i will definitely be back!

I did not know the property was a basement, or that the hosts with 2 dogs lived above it.. we didn’t sleep well at all.. they also have a spider cricket situation, all weekend we were killing those bugs when we were at the unit. The listing should let me know the owners lived there, I would have found some place else.

My wife and I had to visit Long Island for a family function, so unfortunately, leisure was not the goal. We're looking forward to returning, and we'd come back here if it's available!The property says it's not ADA compliant, and this is true. It's a few steps down into a lower-level suite. We weren't ready for the step UP into the bathtub/shower. I imagine it's a code compliance thing, but if you're taller than me (5'10), then be prepared to crouch. And then be careful stepping OUT so you don't slip. This is NOT a complaint--just a heads up.The weather was poor, so we could not take advantage of the hot tub or the pool. It's in a quiet neighborhood, and even though several homes in the area had chickens, we did not hear any rooster calls while inside.We're cat-people, but we liked that it had a small doggy station with baggies for dog walks and a few other things. So they're not just saying pet-friendly to drum up business. The keychain is a plastic chicken that crows when you press a button, so be careful where it is in your pocket so it doesn't accidentally go off during a solemn occasion, as it did to me (Fortunately, only my wife and I heard it)!
