Exactly as advertised. Pros: Location, organized and clean beach chairs/toys, very responsive rental company, easy in/out. We knew it wasn’t a fully updated place, and we were okay with that. We had issues with hot water that were dealt with pretty quickly by the rental company. Biggest con for us were the linens, and the bunk room was a bit musty/grimy. We were very glad for the stay.

Location of unit was perfect; however the unit needs to be updated including the drawers in bathrooms and cabinets. Other than that everything else was very good.

The unit was very clean but very old and badly in need of updates. The cabinets are falling apart, the carpet is very stained, and the drawers in the dressers smell very bad, like mold/mildew so we didn't use them because we were worried about how our clothes would smell. The condo is very spacious and the view is beautiful. The downside is that it is by the dumpsters for the restaurant so it is very noisy. There is also a loud vent next to the balcony. If we were to stay in the building again, I would choose a unit on the other side of the building. We enjoyed how convenient the restaurant was since there are no other options within easy walking distance.

Clean and right on the beach! Many items that made the trek to the sand as easy as possible. Plus so many friendly people in the Appollo and Sunset Grille, very convenient to have food right downstairs.

Our stay was great! The family and I really enjoyed our time in Apollo and this apartment was very comfortable. The key pick up and check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The apartment had everything we needed, and the view of the beach was absolutely perfect! Definitely will continue coming here as much as possible!

Enjoyed the stay very much! View was beautiful - watching dolphins and bunnies every morning . Accommodations were comfortable although the unit could use some updating. Had a couple of issues (A/C & sink not draining) - both were addressed and solved quickly.

Great. Location

The condo is nice, it has great ocean view and location. What it could be improved are the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as the living room door courtains. Othe than everything was great.

Great beach stay

Very spacious, kids loves their space and having their “side” of the condo. Gorgeous view. Appliances were all very nice. Very easy access to the pool, ocean, and the convenience of a good restaurant downstairs was great. If I were to give some cons, I’d say the following come to mind: - ceiling fan in bedroom is a bit annoying and loud - master bedroom bed was very firm and not comfortable - no side gate access to pool area from parking lot is a bit annoying if you want to bring sandy beach items to your vehicle after a beach day Overall, I would stay here again. We loved our stay.

Great family

Overall great unit with awesome view of the beach and the location is ideal if you have kids. A couple minor things could be done to improve the overall experience. Master bathroom and cabinets needs a little love but nothing that would make me not rent this again.

SW Florida escape

The location and size of the unit in which we rented was great. The beds and sofas were comfortable, and all the appliances appeared to be new or nearly new. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets however are in very bad shape. They are probably close to 30 years old and the handle on the kitchen faucet was a bit hard to handle. It did not really impact our stay that much however. The most annoying issue with the property is that there is no stairs access from the main floor to the upper level floors- very inconvenient for us because we were on the 3rd floor and the staircase was right outside our door. We could use the stairs to go down, but not up. There was only one operating elevator the entire time we were there, too. Check in and check out was very straightforward, though we did have to go to a separate office to do this. It was really nice having a covered parking lot, and the restaurant on site was good and offered a reasonable variety of food options.

Overpriced, not very clean and not updated

Great location, on the beach with a beautiful view off the balcony! The beds were sufficient in terms of comfort. However, the space is not updated (sinks/bathtubs old) and was not very clean. Stains on beds and pillows. One stain on bed of upper bunk was staring you right in the face when you are lying in bed. Smoker on balcony above us which was reported to management of condo but person kept doing it. Hairdryer was so filthy it was unusable. Cant turn temp lower than 72 degrees, which was fine for us since it was cool at night but this can be an issue for others and if temp is hotter. The internet was spotty and slow. Tried to contact management but they were not open. If you need consistent, reasonable internet speeds this is not a good option. When I used the ice machine for my drink I found shards of small pieces of plastic in the drink. Overall, way overpriced for the space.

Review

Condo was very outdated. All appliances need replaced (washer, dryer, frig, microwave, dishwasher and oven) plus water heater could not keep up with a three bedroom occupancy. The kitchen was poorly stocked with items needed to prepare a family meal. Plastic bowls were broke on the bottom, knives were rusty and no cutting board to even cut up a watermelon. The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. The master mattress is so firm that offers no give. Blind shade did not function properly in primary bedroom we never even tried in family area. Sliding doors did not lock. We had to call a plumber during stay because when we turned on the dishwasher the garage disposal started leaking. Then we we started the dishwasher this morning, it would not start for some reason then noticed it detached from the counter. Not sure if this happened when plumber was there or not. Also, the guest bathroom toilet started making loud noises last night and would not flush this morning. The view we’re gorgeous, we loved Marco but would never stay at this condo again.
