We had 3 generations of family in Galena for a family vacation and we all loved the property so much, it was clean nicely appointed and plenty of room for of us to sleep, get ready and have movie nights. The kitchen was a little small, but we made it work. We will be back.

Thank you for the wonderful stay our 1st time in Galena. We look forward to the next. Our stay was wonderful, the community center was great, & our son went to the range a few time as we were to busy to get a time that fit our timeline.

We enjoyed our visit to Galena. Cute town and beautiful area. We had a few issues with our town house. The ice maker did not work and the couches were not very comfortable. This is the very first VRBO that did not provide a hair dryer. The shower upstairs was small and the downstairs bedroom did not have a closet. I would not recommend the unit for older people due to the steep stairs. It was a challenge to haul our suitcases up and down.

For reference, the hair dryer is located in the bathroom cabinet on the main level, and the ice maker is operational; the bar/arm must be in the “on” position and given some time to produce ice. If mobility accessibility is an important consideration for your group, we always recommend reaching out to the host prior to booking to ensure the home is the best fit. We also provide 50 photos of each property to help guests make an informed decision before reserving.

Beautiful view

Super clean and comfortable rental. Great deck with views of the trees/lake. Extremely responsive when we had to call about the lock. We all enjoyed the space.

Great family get-away!

We had a great time! The house was immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. The views were lovely and we saw wil turkeys every day! We had to reach out to Linda once with a question and she got back immediayely. Just 3 min drive from Owners Club. Would rent again. Club

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely home in Galena. The things I would say were minor issues, the front door lock was awful. Took forever for us to get in. Instructions need to be clearer. There was no way to turn on the air as it was 85 in the house, but owner was kind enough to come turn it on for us. The toilet on the main level is SO low to the ground. Hard for old people like me to get up and down off of. lol Otherwise it is a lovely home and the back facing the water was beautiful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful get together for our 6 Middle Ages beauties from several states! The management team was great and we had only small issues with facility. - the biggest issue was the refrigerator and we let the company know our concerns- unfortunately for us it was a weekend. The appliance just seemed to not hold its coldness at all and things melted and were not cold. There were a few minor things like lots of ants and spiders and some tho gs like the underpart of the overhang in the living not being clear out of cobwebs / spiders but overall- a beautiful place and it was fun to stay here last minute after our original place was canceled on us due to their air conditioning equipment flooding. Overall nice trip to a quaint town. Truly have to give it to the management staff whom without- we could not have made this trip possible! Thank you again! So appreciated your honestly and all the help! You are wonderful!

We are so glad Kimberly and family enjoyed their time in Galena. Please note when visiting and bringing in items that need refrigeration - the refrigerator is empty until you arrive, it can take hours for it cool off enough to keep a full frig and freezer full of food. Coolers with ice can be helpful and prioritizing your items aka keep the water, pop, etc out until the milk, butter, eggs are staying cool. We are always available to assist and take your feedback. The home is convenient to the Eagle Ridge golf courses and parks. It is about 10 miles outside of Galena. We arrived to a cozy, clean, and comfortable home. It is well appointed and stocked with about anything you could need.
