Almost Heaven LeConte is a 2 sided cabin that sleeps 6.
Almost Heaven Ober is the other side.
Have a bigger group? You can rent both sides.
It sits at the top of Cove Mountain with 1 of the best views in Gatlinburg.
There are no common spaces inside the cabin.
Everyone in your group must be able to walk up 2 full flights of stairs.
If anyone is unable to walk up 2 flights, please do not rent here.

We have been in the cabin hosting business since 2012.

Any questions that you have will be answered to ensure that you have found the perfect cabin for your escape to Gatlinburg.

The cabin is as described. It is in great shape with a fantastic view. Host Patrick was quick to send confirmation and send responses. We loved the pickleball garage. Would book again.

The cabin was very private. Very disappointed that the bathtub wasn't in working order. The stopper was broken and my husband tried to make it work with plastic or wash cloth but they just didn't work. He really tried to fix it but it shouldn't have been his responsiblility. I have major back issues due to scoliosis and it helps at the end of the day to sit in a hot tub for awhile. It was one of the main reason we picked this place, The sofas were not very comfortable at all. The cushions were very flat and worn out and the ends and the covers on the sofa just kept coming off. We left early because we just didn't feel comfortable. Gatlinburg was great and we did our best to enjoy being there.

Best view in Gatlinburg

Stunning views of Smoky Mtns, Le Conte, property had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. My kids loved playing pickleball in the garage. Check in and out was the easiest we have had in a VRBO. Highly recommend staying here, escape the noise and crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to your own quiet mountain retreat!

The end to family vacay

We had been to Florida for a week and decided to make a stop in Gatlinburg on the way home. And sure am glad we did! This cabin was absolutely amazing. The view was phenomenal! The Pickleball court inside was so much fun such a great idea! Definitely will be staying here again!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway for the Whole Family

My family visits this area several times a year, and we’ve stayed in various locations—from near town to high in the mountains. This time, we had the pleasure of hosting family from Texas, including my sister and her grandchildren, who had never experienced the mountains before. We wanted to give them a breathtaking, unforgettable view, and this cabin absolutely delivered!The property was everything we hoped for: clean, welcoming, and perfectly maintained. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing excellent communication and thoughtful touches throughout the home. From the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy, impeccably clean living spaces, it was clear that great care is taken to maintain the property.As expected for a cabin this high up, the hills are steep and the climb is winding, but it’s far less intimidating than some other mountain roads we’ve encountered over the years. The payoff is more than worth it—the views are absolutely stunning, and the serenity of the setting is unmatched.This cabin exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect introduction to the mountains for our Texas family. We highly recommend this property and will certainly consider returning for future visits

Convenient and clean

Very nice property to stay at if you're going to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Conveniently located and very clean. We didn't know it was a duplex. If you're looking for a private cabin this may not be the place for you. It was very nice and quiet and it's a perfect place to stay if you're going to see the sites. Definitely a lot of twists and turns to get to it, so night driving and weather should be considered.

Excellent in every way

Location was perfect! Views were amazing and owner had a small problem with the well water the week before we came and he immediately called to inform us of the problem and to say it was fixed but he had left 2 cases of water plus 2 gallons just in case we needed it. We have stayed several places but this one was by far the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Would definitely stay here again

The cabin is exactly as advertised. Beautiful view from the deck. It was nice to be able to do laundry at night and not come home to loads of dirty clothes. Missed out on getting to see any bears this time. We would definitely stay there again.

House is great - very vertical so be ready for that. Nice and clean and quiet (except when the tuners were zipping up and down the parkway). Daily bear visitor was very fun! Views are great as well. Had a lovely time! Highly recommend!

We are Lisa and Pat Toner. We visited Gatlinburg when our 2 sons were younger. We loved the area so much that we bought our first cabin Scenic Hideaway. This mountain top duplex is our second venture into the cabin rental industry. We raised our sons on the Gatlinburg experience. They are men now. We hope that they will raise their families here as well. We are a family run business and are here to stay. Please give us a chance to show you our hospitality.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Perfectly located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. AH LeConte is located about 3 minutes off the Spur (321/441), only 7 minutes to either town, or 10 minutes to Dollywood. As always, traffic permitting. You can either come up Cove Mountain Road, or Flat Branch Road. If you are going to Gatlinburg from the cabin, take the Spur and quickly get off at the Gatlinburg Bypass. This will take you to the far end of town and you can enter Gatlinburg from the lighter traffic side. If you are going to Pigeon Forge, take Flat Branch Road. This will allow you to enter the Spur after the tunnel and reduce the time traveling to Pigeon Forge. The less time spent on the Spur the better. This is why this area is best area to be in if you plan on spending time in both towns. This is the ultimate location.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Peacefully located off the Spur close to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. This area is frequented by 8-10 resident bears, wild turkeys, deer, bobcats and other wildlife. Watch from deck for hawks and eagles as they glide through the valley to the river down below. It is a great place to stroll around and take in all of the mountain air. The tranquility of sitting on the rocking chairs and looking at Mt. LeConte is refreshing. Life slows down and you can relax here.
