This fully renovated cozy cottage has been tastefully decorated and fully stocked with all the comforts of home! King bedroom with flat screen TV and a quiet second bedroom with a queen bed. This cottage also includes a washer and dryer, a private patio with BBQ grill. Relax in the shade while watching the water and the sunset from our dock or take out one of our kayaks for an energizing paddle! Check out our photos and video for a full tour. All the essentials were there. Quiet and quaint home. Lake was peaceful. We found some long black hair in the home (shower, bathroom drawers, door of the bed under sheets). But everything else was clean and comfortable.

This was our second stay at this property! We love the location, it's convenient to Mount Dora as well as the Florida Springs. Property is always super clean and has everything we need. We love that there is a dock to sit and relax and watch the sunset. There are kayaks and a paddleboard to use on the lake. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Clean and neat. Well equipped and stocked. Nice to be close to the lake and an easy drive into Mt Dora. It is right off a well traveled county road.

Couples / close friends vacay paradise

We stayed here for 5 days and were beyond comfortable the whole time. Fantastic fishing, beautiful sunsets, clear water and fishing / sunbathing on the dock. Very healthy lake. Not milky, swampy, none of that. Almost looks spring fed the way the aquatic vegetation grows perfectly with fish and baitfish abundant in the clear water. Panfish bit off the dock with bread and worms! As a Floridian, I’ve fished a lot of unhealthy and swampy waters, this lake is far from it. I wish all of our lakes were like this one! I brought my kayak and fished most of the time, probably caught 30+ bass just around the nearby reeds and shorelines. A few wake boarders, so just keep an eye out if you’re yakking. Lightning is the coolest, most friendliest cat I’ve known. Curls up in your lap and naps while you’re sitting outside. Extremely sweet to us. We are pretty private, and enjoy solitude on vacation, and even though the property shares the amenities, the other renters were equally as private, quiet, respectful and kind. Both were older couples on either side of us and were very nice people. The host is extremely communicative and helpful. Property is kept up very well, as well as all amenities. Nothing broken or unavailable to use. The homes seem to be very very modern, lovely new kitchen, great internet, easy to work from here too. I recommend checking out charming downtown Mount Dora and enjoying the lake as much as you can. I’ll be back for sure.

Wonderful property and location

Perfect for our stay. Location was great - easy drive to Mt Dora and golf courses. Unit was lovely. So so clean and comfortable. It’s not often we get a good nights sleep when away from home but this bed was great. Lake proximity and views just beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband is a touring musician, entertainer and pretty much travels for a living. Getting into Vacation rentals was a natural fit for both of us! What an incredible opportunity to share this unique property and the joy of Lake Life with others! On over 2 acres, there is plenty of room to for multiple vacationers to get away.

Who wouldn’t want to stay on a beautiful spring fed private lake just a short drive from downtown Mt Dora!! Better yet, bring your friends and family! With a total of 5 different rentals, we have the ability to sleep up to 30 guests! This is the perfect place for a family reunion, team retreat, or even a small wedding!
