It was a peaceful place to stay in a quaint neighborhood on the Dora Canal. You can sit out back on the dock and relax next to the water. The home was comfortable although there were not a full compliment of toiletries provided (shampoo, shower soap, etc) and the beds were memory foam. We would have preferred a more firm mattress, but that is personal preference. The directions within the listing did not take us to the house unfortunately. Thankfully the house address was available. They did accommodate an earlier check-in and the host was reaponsive and helpful. Overall it was a good experience although it was a bit pricey for what it was.

House and location were perfect for us. Enjoyed watching the alligators, turtles, fish and various birds by the water. Will definitely stay again when in town visiting the in-laws.

It was amazing. Very clean, great location, and the best part was the pet friendliness. The only issue was with check in but they were very responsive and quick to fix it. Lovely host, lovely place, and we will definitely be back.

Great stay! Highly recommend!

The perfect spot for our family’s summer vacation! Everything was just as described. The home was clean, inviting, and comfortable. The dock was amazing and fit our boat perfectly. We parked our cars and explored the entire chain of lakes by boat. The location was also very convenient—close to everything we needed. Will definitely stay again!!

First month of retirement

Cute little place and fantastic having our boat right out the back door. Had some comms issues with our host(s), but they indicated it was a VRBO issue and when we did connect, they were really quick to respond.Loved Mt. Dora, such a cute town, and lots of easy access to shopping in Eustis and Leesburg

Family weekend

What a lovely place. The boat dock out back was perfect and the boat ride to mt Dora craft fair was relaxing and the sunset gorgeous! My kids met us there and we shared a beautiful weekend together

Very nice accommodations. Was perfect for our two day fishing trip.

Everything was great! Very clean, and the accessories were very accommodating. It was perfect for 3 men looking to share an enjoyable fishing trip together. Community was very quiet and the canal allowed for relaxing fishing in the evenings after fishing the lakes all day. One toilet seat was in need of repair when we arrived, but I’m sure the owner will have that repaired soon. We agreed our future fishing trips will be planned around the availability of this rental. Thank you

Clean, comfortable, well appointed

We were comfortable for our stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. We appreciated supplies on hand: laundry, dishwashing & dishwasher detergents; basic kitchen spices plus fresh baked goods. The owner/manager was very responsive to questions. I suggest sharing with your listing that this is a renovated mobile home and it does have steps up and down to different areas: laundry & bathroom, screen porch and entry tv/sunroom. The hallway to the bedrooms is quite narrow. The neighborhood is quiet, nice enough, but a mix of mobile and stick built homes. We enjoyed watching the occasional gator swim by in the canal out back.
