• Riverfront Paradise: Enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming, or simply relaxing on our private dock. Easy water access via metal steps (deep water, caution advised for young children).
• Outdoor Fun: Large, fully fenced yard ideal for kids and pets. Covered deck with BBQ and dining area, featuring glass railings for unobstructed river views. Firepit for s'mores and stargazing.
• Indoor Comfort: Open-concept living space with a fully equipped kitchen (pass-through window for socializing!), coffee station, and bar fridge. Cozy living room with a U-shaped couch, wood fireplace, and Starlink Wi-Fi.
• Modern Amenities: Recently renovated bathroom with heated floors. Three comfortable bedrooms (including a flexible daybed room connected to a queen bedroom), comfortably sleeping 6. Bring your own bedding for comfort of home. Pillows are available in each room.
• Adventure Awaits: Explore the nearby Victoria Rail Trail for hiking, biking, and ATV adventures. Charming towns of Coboconk, Kinmount and Fenelon Falls (15 minutes away) offer quaint shops and local attractions.

• We provide starter supplies: 4 toilet paper rolls, 1 paper towel roll, 1 Kleenex box, 1 water jug, firewood, drip coffee and filters (Keurig on site), propane for BBQ, laundry/hand/dish soap, foil/wrap/storage bags, extra blankets, and pillows.
• The water off of the dock is deep, so please keep a close eye on young children.
• Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Burnt River!

My family had a wonderful time at Our Place! April promptly answered any questions I had. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs. We loved the dock and swam everyday! We would highly recommend this cottage!

This was a nice cottage, well stocked and very clean. The grounds were well maintained. Cottage close to Fenelon Falls, Bobcageon and Minden. It was a nice area. April was a great host. We had issues with the coffee pot and she had a new one delivered! Highly recommend.

Great family friendly spot

My family(and dog) really enjoyed this vacation spot. It was quiet and the onsite activities were just what we were looking for. Driving distance to local tourist areas for the days we felt like getting out of the house.

Summer Fun!

My family and I had a great time at this cottage. The house was lovely, the dock and water activities were great, and we all had such a great time! April was so helpful and quick to answer all our questions and we would definitely recommend booking to others!

Wonderful getaway, could not have asked for a better spot for a girls trip/or family trip. Gated backyard with great amenities, a bit warm even with the fans galore provided given the heat wave but a beautiful river and dock. When they say bring your own linens remember those dish towels and hand towels. 10/10 would stay again!

The back yard was very well done. You can tell they spent a lot of money on the back yard and porch. The inside cabin is small and crowded. The bedrooms were uninviting. The bed covers were dirty. The one bedroom with the step down was musty smelling. Everything else was ok. Had trouble getting on wifi at first but it sorted itself out after a couple of hours. Cut my leg open on a piece of steel sticking out of a bed. I explained all this to the owner and she did say she would look into it. I rent a lot from vrbo and never had a problem. I think the problem is her cleaning lady. You can’t not see dirt. Bedrooms need painting as they are bland and boring. If you are there for a few days you can live with it. I just can’t stand poor bedrooms. She supplied the cottage well with kitchen gadgets. She has a second fridge however it’s crowded in behind the table and hard to use. A little refreshing on bedrooms and a little more cleanliness by the cleaning lady and it would be a beautiful place. Just not my cup of tea.

We take pride in offering an authentic, comfortable cottage experience, and we’d like to share some helpful context regarding this stay. Within just 45 minutes of checking in, the guest contacted multiple co-owners demanding that we get the Wi-Fi running. We immediately checked with our provider, confirmed zero service interruption in our area, and walked the guest through standard network troubleshooting. The connection was fully operational, which the guest confirmed once they turned on the TV services. Despite claiming to be a frequent guest (the VRBO profile shows only two reviews) the guest requested a discount from Vrbo support within 2 hours of arrival, chose to stay for two nights, departing just one day early, and brought no other concerns to us during their stay to allow us the opportunity to correct them. Our property is a classic cottage featuring natural grounds and native plants—designed for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying nature, not a manicured suburban lawn or luxury resort. While minor cosmetic wear occurs in a well-loved vacation home, mattress covers are laundered and the house is cleaned before every stay. (Note: Photo #2 depicts the utility area) We always appreciate constructive feedback and encourage guests to reach out beforehand with any questions about amenities, water, or cottage setup. We love welcoming like-minded cottagers who appreciate a genuine classic getaway—we are always happy to help!
