You will be minutes to everything; restaurants, unique shops, waterfront activities, ice cream shops, parks, playgrounds, and golf. Plenty of space for everyone with our open, spacious, living design. Relax and enjoy this beautiful city any season of the year. We love lake life here and think you will fall in love with it too!

The location was fantastic, one block off of Main street and all that Lake Geneva has to offer. Carol and Bill were great hosts and provided clear instructions leading up to and during our stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our family of five. The only call-outs were that the heat was not working in one of the bedrooms so we were unable to use it, and all three bedrooms have french doors with thin blinds that do not provide much separation/privacy from the main living room.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Bill and Carol are the nicest people you could hope for. The cottage has a great open floor plan, perfect for being with family and was equipped with everything we could need. I grew up in the area but hadn’t been back in a long time. Bill and Carol were great at filling us in with the best places to eat and have a great time. The location is perfect—right in the heart of everything and within walking distance to the lake. We ended up taking advantage of a free night that they offer with weekend stays in the fall months. We hope to be back someday soon.

Six of us "girls" who graduated from high school together over 50 years ago booked a two night stay at the Nautical Cottage! It was AWESOME!The home was wonderful with everything we could possibly need (and then some!) Location was perfect, and Carol and Bill were so accommodating!! Great location! The host was very accommodating and thorough. The place was beautiful. There was even beer and root beer in the fridge. The one complaint we had was the couch was too soft so hard to get up.

Beautiful, clean, everything you need for a getaway they have thought of! so conveniently located steps from downtown & Champs : ) Hostess' Bill & Carol are so nice & explained everything to us. Thank you for the refreshments in frig also. Girls trip was awesome!

The host was super friendly and greeted us when we arrived. He even left us some root beer and beer in the fridge to welcome us. The flowers outside were very inviting. The interior of the house was very bright and fresh. We loved how spacious the kitchen was. The shower was amazing -- especially the volume of water from the shower head. Although there were plenty of windows bringing in natural light, the paper blinds made it hard to sleep at night and also made for an early wake up due to the sun coming through the windows/blinds. I suggest to replace the paper blinds with room darkening blinds of some sort in the bedrooms. One more thing that was disappointing was that it was not disclosed to us that the exterior needed major work. There was a tarp covering the roof.

Great stay for family!

Great stay for family with small kids. Multiple rooms on one level which was great for our walking 14 month old. Great set up in kitchen, all things needed to cook at home along with walking distance to many restaurants, the public beach and downtown lake geneva. Would stay again!

Summer Get Together

This place was perfect! It had plenty of space for the 9 of us and enough bed/couches to sleep as well. It was the best location so we could walk every where and not worry about driving. The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming!

Perfect location, beautiful property!

We have a group of 6 (4 adults, 2 young children) staying at Bill and Carol’s property. Upon arriving, the hosts were very communicative about parking and entering the house. Everything was very clean and towels were well stocked. It was nice to feel comfortable letting my baby crawl around and not worry about dirty floors! Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. There were 2 great outside seating areas - 1 was perfect for people watching and the other was a little more private in the back. Very close to town, great shopping, a brewery, really good coffee, and just a few minute walk down the street to the beach. Bill and Carol were wonderful to chat with and know a lot about the area. It was apparent that a lot of love was put into updating the house!

Fun girls weekend

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed. Beds were comfy. The location was great and so close to town!! An easy 2 block walk. For a girls weekend it was perfect. Bill the owner was really helpful and thoughtful. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Cozy, clean and Hospitable!

It was a short but sweet stay and perfect for what we needed. The house had just enough space for 7 and had a nice dining room table where we had meals, played games and cards. The location is ideal as it really is a block or so from downtown. We appreciated the special touches like having condiments, spices and a few things that is always forgotten and did not have to buy. Bill and Carol are gracious and helpful. Great property for being downtown in Lake Geneva.

Perfect Spot!

My sister and I brought our mom to Lake Geneva for a few days for her birthday. This place was perfect! Very clean/ updated and well-stocked. Lots of space. The location couldn’t have been better! Very easy walk to the cute downtown shopping area and even to the water. And the owners were super friendly and easy to work with. We are already thinking about coming back next year, and we would definitely stay here again.

Bill and Carol love living in Lake Geneva. Bill is a contractor and loves to create homes and commercial buildings for people to live or work in. He is gifted with an eye for design and then can create it for his customers. He remodeled our Nautical Cottage in 2020 and it is unique with open space and high end finishes. He has left some of the old trim and ceiling details of the past and created high ceilings and open floor plan in the kitchen and sitting area. The bathroom has a large beautiful shower with multiple sprayers that the customers love.
We love meeting new guests and making sure they have everything they need to have a memorable stay in Lake Geneva.
