While this property is in a somewhat rundown neighborhood, it is well maintained and comfortable. It is reasonably close to the Obama Center - our reason for visiting from Oregon - as well as other South Side attractions. Having a parking spot in the back helped simplify coming and going, compared with needing to deal with a locked front gate. We found it to be very comfortable. There were way more snacks and provisions than probably any other properties we have stayed in - very generous. Overall, for us this worked out to be ideal.

Our host was so helpful, welcoming and thoughtful. We were in town to watch my son run the Chicago Marathon. I brought my elderly parents with me and the host graciously drove us to the marathon so my parents wouldn't have to walk so far. She also helped us carry in our luggage and gave us a tour of historic spots in South Chicago.The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable and was well stocked with many snacks and drinks. It had all the amenities we needed plus a parking spot in back and a metro train station only a few blocks away. It is also only about 2 miles from the new Obama Presidential Center, which I highly recommend.

Nice, small "ground level" apartment. Some would call it a basement since it's a few steps below street level. Host was very communicative via text and provided fresh flowers and some food and drinks. Neighborhood is older and seems to be in the midst of a lot of renovations, but seemed safe and quiet.

I recently stayed at this 2-bedroom Apt in the South Side of Chicago while attending the Obama Presidential Center Opening Ceremony Watch Party, and it was an excellent experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location worked perfectly for my needs as it was conveniently walkable and made getting around easy. The host was outstanding: responsive, welcoming, and very helpful before I arrived, ensuring that everything went smoothly. The space itself was well-maintained and provided a comfortable place to relax. I especially appreciated the clear communication from the host. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and host-friendly place to stay in the Chicago area.
