This location was nice, it's no "retreat." It did sleep three people accurately. Communication with the service was decent. I would not call this place a host. This was a company and they probably have rental units all over the country. It felt like they splashed this place together, and threw it online to make money fast. There were no sheets for the upstairs pull out bed and couch and this was confusing where to find them in the closet. And the sheets for the two downstairs beds did not fit so throughout the night you're ending up tangled in the bedsheets. The beds were decent. There is no TV services. They said there are lots of games and board games available in the house and I didn't find any. It was mostly just OK and good enough. I wouldn't stay here again and I think the advertising was not truthful and it was expensive for what we got. I would have felt more comfortable in a hotel at the same price.

Weekend Review

My stay was mostly fine. Location is great as it's an easy 10–15-minute walk to Thayer Street while also being in a nice quiet neighborhood. I wish the listing had mentioned that the bedroom was in the lower level of the condo, it might have changed my decision to stay here. The condo's main entrance sits on the first floor of the building, so the bedroom level sits a bit underground. The condo doesn't have a TV, although they do state that in the listing, I just did not see it in there. There are 2 beds in the bedroom. One is a full-size bed, and one is a twin. One of the beds is overly soft and the other is overly hard. It was a bit difficult to get comfortable in either bed. The last night, I decided to just sleep on the futon, which ended up being much more comfortable. Overall, it's a cute place, but not sure I would stay here again.

Unfortunately we never stayed at this property because when we arrived in the morning the place had not been cleaned. We assumed that because we were able to check in early, it would be cleaned later in the day. When we arrived in the late afternoon, it was still uncleaned. We were told there was a miscommuication with the cleaning crew and they were unable to clean it that day, but we could have access to sheets and towels in case we wanted to stay. We ended up having to find a hotel since we weren't about to make the beds ourselves. My 80 year old mom was already too tired to deal with this. Hopefully future guests will not have this happen to them.

Our cleaning crew mishandled the schedule, and I was not informed until the following week.I truly regret the inconvenience this caused. I hope you were able to find alternate accommodations in Providence and still enjoy your time in our beautiful city."
