This home is conveniently located in town. Approximately 0.2 miles to the nearest Coffee Shop, 0.6 miles to the Beach, and 0.4 miles to shops and restaurants. There is plenty of space in the driveway to park 4 vehicles and your watercraft. Cook the day's catch on the charcoal grill. Enjoy the breeze while sipping on your morning coffee from the front balcony. Inside you will never feel left out of the conversations in the open living/dining and kitchen area. Pops of bright colors and a beach theme throughout make the home relaxing and inviting. The dining table has seating for 4 to sit and enjoy meals or to play games. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a large bar for prepping your meals with additional seating for 4. The living area hosts a modern couch with an attached lounge, 3 chairs, TV, Wi-Fi, and cable. Utilize the washer and dryer for rinsing off the sand from your beach attire and towels. The first bedroom (BR1) has a Queen-sized bed with colors of orange and turquoise, nightstands, and a wall-mounted TV. The second bedroom (BR2) has a Twin over Full bunk bed with an extra twin in a blue nautical theme, a wall-mounted TV, and a desk for kids to read, color, or play games. The shared hallway guest bathroom has a tub/shower. The Master bedroom (BR3) has a King-size bed with the blue and yellow fish theme, a wall-mounted TV, a closet, and a chest for clothing. The ensuite bathroom has double vanities and a tub/shower.

Was a nice space, close to the beach and shops. Was not impressed with the lack of kitchen items (for example, hot pads) and no real options for entertainment/tv (tvs were not logged in to any accounts).

Checkzin was simple and the house was overall very clean. There was a shade canopy collapsed down next to the trash can when we arrived, but oother than that and some ripe trash, it was well kept. The salt and pepper shakers were present but empty. One of the pans was pretty scratched and in need of replacement, but overall, the kitchen was stocked with typical kitchenware. The left side fridge door had a piece missing that typically helps seal the doors closed when they're shut, and one of the doors would sometimes not close properly, but it worked when we shut it in the proper sequence. (Left door first, then right). Easy fixes. The property was located in a great area near shops, the beach, and 361, and I enjoyed my stay.

The first night was a bit of a disappointment as the single bed frame located in the front bedroom collapsed when we sat down on it to get into bed and made it uncomfortable to sleep in. Next morning the problems continued when we tried to use the microwave to reheat some food and found out it was not working at all. The good news is we called the number provided to us in case we needed a problem taken care of and the two ladies we spoke to were awesome. The way one of them responded was they would send maintenance over and would have us sleeping pretty that night and they would look at the microwave as well. We left for the beach returned around 6:30 p.m. and found a notice that maintenance had been there sometime around 3:00, and much to our delight the bed had been fixed and a brand new microwave had been installed. Enjoyed the rest if our stay and we were really happy with our rental, would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place stay in Port A.

Disappointing Stay

We had high hopes, but this stay fell short. Given the amount of money we spent, we expected much more in terms of comfort, functionality, and overall quality. Things started off with not having enough towels for the number of guests in our group. To the property manager’s credit, they did respond quickly and provided more, which we appreciated. However, the issues didn’t stop there. The property itself needs attention. The microwave wouldn’t heat food, which was very inconvenient since we needed it for much of our stay. The main bathroom also had a clogged drain, causing water to back up during showers. The worst part was the disruptive environment. This unfortunately was not a family-friendly stay. The neighboring rental (managed by the same company) was packed with a large group of unsupervised teenagers/young adults—at least 15 (and more at times)—blasting loud music, drinking underage, and using very inappropriate language. As we had a 4-year-old with us, we could barely use the outdoor patio or porch without exposing him to this behavior. Additionally, the home is located on a very busy and noisy street, which only added to the disruption.This may have just been an off experience, but based on everything we encountered, we would not choose to stay here again.

Little family trip

Our stay was wonderful! What a cozy little place!!! Super clean. Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Neighbors were quiet. Zero complaints! We didn’t want to leave!

This house is in an excellent location. House was very clean, we had 8 people and it was extremely comfortable and amazing. Nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the view. Quiet street. Amazing communication with owners via text. Fast responses. Will definitely stay here again!

Great house in Port A

We picked this house because of the proximity to both the beach and downtown Port A. The location was great! The house itself was comfortable and had plenty of room. We appreciated being able to park 4 vehicles and a golf cart. The house had a cooler and some beach toys, and a convenient outdoor shower. A few things to note: there is no hair dryer or laundry soap provided. There is only 1 roll of paper towels and toilet paper provided so bring your own! Dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, shampoo and lotion are provided.

Great stay!

We enjoyed this house very much! Walking in the door after a long day of hot Texas travel, it was nice and cool in the house. Everything was as described. There were 6 of us and we all had plenty of room. The management company, Life in Paradise, was easy to communicate with. No problems getting the door code or answers to questions. We had a problem with the WiFi and they sent a representative to look at it. It needed Spectrum and they came the next day and got it back to working order. This rental is in town and a short golf cart ride to all the places. There were beach toys we appreciated at the house, as well as board and card games. The house is located on a street that seems to get busy on the weekends, but that made it fun to people watch. I would recommend this house and would stay here again if it is available. Thank you for a great vacation house!

Family vacation

Loved the location. Close to everything we needed and wanted to do. We rented golf carts for transportation to and from the beach and had plenty of parking space. The beach house was clean and comfortable for the entire family. Ages ranging from just under 2 to 63.

Awesome Location

Very close to the beach. Located in town 2 blocks from the best coffee shop called waves. Many restaurants and shops close by. We couldn’t ask for a better beach house. This was our second time to stay here. We plan on staying in this house again.

Picturesque

This was the first time my family and I ever rented a vacation home. We didn't know what to expect. Let me tell you, we were blown away. The house looked EXACTLY like in the photos. So clean and sterilized. Made our stay that much more comfortable. Definitely will stay again.

Beach house

House was in a great location. It was not very clean. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Bath towels were dirty. Bathtubs were not very clean. Check in was easy and the girl (forgot her name! Younger girl) was very nice. We had an ant issue and they came quickly and took care of it.
