*****There is construction on the upper Carlsbad beach sidewalk until late spring 2026 and then again during the winter and spring of 2027. They are replacing stairways to the beach and widening sidewalks. Nearby access points to the beach are still open and the lower seawall sidewalk on the beach is open. We are happy to confirm details and progress.*****

Welcome to Vacation in Carlsbad's newest property - Umi House! Luxuriate in our renovation while enjoying all the best that Carlsbad has to offer! You are directly across Carlsbad Blvd from the world-class beaches and popular surfing spots. Stroll, walk, run or bike along Whalewatcher's Walk into the Village to enjoy its shops and restaurants. 2 minute walk to Vigilucci's Seafood & Steakhouse for lunch, happy hour and sunset dinners. Only 2 miles to Legoland, the Flower Fields and the outlet mall.Less than a mile to full-service Von's grocery store.

Sparkling clean with comfortable furnishings and great amenities! Our kitchens are fully stocked and have Bosch appliances. We have hard-wired wi-fi access points for our super fast reliable internet (250Mbps). The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed and private bath, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room - all luxury linens provided. There is one oversized, reserved parking space.

We also provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards.

Day Trips to: Legoland - San Diego Zoo - Sea World - San Diego Safari Park - Disneyland - La Jolla Cove - casinos - wineries.

Shop the Village, Carlsbad Outlet Mall or at The Shoppes at Carlsbad.

Great place, as advertised

We stayed 4 nights with our boys (15 and 9). Management was very communicative before check in. Once there we never needed to ask for anything more, it had everything we needed and more. We brought a lot of beach stuff, not realizing just how well stocked the place was, we didn't need to. Great place to stay and use as a base of operations for a San Diego area trip. Thanks!

Trip to Carlsbad

We loved our stay at Snowy Plover. The place is very clean, convenient and well-appointed. The owner is responsive and close by. A bonus was the ease of private parking underneath our unit and having an in-unit washer and dryer. Can’t beat the location and convenience of this gem!

Carlsbad Beach Stay

This place was one of the best we have rented in the last 10 years. Clean, well represented, stocked with plenty necessities, location was the BOMB! Down the stairs, crosswalk, and BEACH!!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome beach stay!

Best Stay Ever

Great location right across the street from the beach. Neighborhood was quiet to be so close to the beach. The place was clean. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities we needed were there. We would definitely stay again.

Outstanding Property

Snowy Plover was a great vacation spot. The unit was exceptionally clean, great beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc., and the view from the front area was beautiful. Nancy was very communicative and timely from the start, and she came by to check in us to be sure all was well. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to relax and also be in a convenient area to travel up and down the cost for sightseeing and beach!

Perfect Surf Shack

The beach is right across the street. There is a good surf break there. Lots of friendly surfers. The unit is clean and well appointed. You are only a 10 minute walk to Carlsbad Village.

Short walk to beach!

Great rental property for a small Family or group! You are literally just across the street and down the stairs to the beach. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas provided. The apartment was immaculately clean, with all linens provided, and all are white so you know they’re clean! I always appreciate such a clean place to stay! The rental company was available and quick to respond several times during our stay when we needed bedding for the futon etc. The Main Street is loud during the day, but we had no noise issues at night. The many box fans were great to help with air flow since there is no AC. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Carlsbad!

Great location, Very Clean

Everything was exactly as it was advertised. Vacation in Carlsbad was very responsive and helpful. We asked for bedding for the futon and it was promptly brought over. Access to the beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards was very convenient - we used them every day. Looking forward to staying there in the future and checking out the remodeling happening soon.

Great Beach Location

Amazing location

This property was awesome. Great location with the beach just across the street. The only thing I would change is additional pillow/blankets for futon in front room, towels, and a blender for the kitchen.
