Enjoy a stay in one of the original farmhouses within Decorah city limits. Located by Luther College, it's a great starting point to explore downtown Decorah, catch a Luther College game, bike the trout run trail, check out the world-renowned Seed Savers, do a craft beer tour (centrally located between Toppling Goliath, Pulpit Rock and Pivo Brewing) or just have quiet weekend getaway. You get the entire 2,100 Sq.Ft. in town farmhouse which has room for up to 8 guests.

This was the perfect place for us and several family members including two small girls for a very special Christmas. Lovely layout, large and well equipped kitchen and comfortably heated in the winter. And plenty of room for the girls to play. The host made sure the snow was shoveled quickly. We would stay here again.

It was such a lovely and cozy home. I loved that the home owner used the last 4 digits of my phone number as the access code. It was a fantastic location and was 7-10 minutes from every single thing we did in Decorah. My only word of caution is Uber did not seem to work in Decorah and Taxis stop early. Be prepared to drive yourself. The home itself was fantastic and my group of friends and I hope to rent it annually.

Beautiful farmhouse that has been updated inside with a large kitchen and window seat dining area. Great space for three couples to enjoy the area. The house was stocked with everything you need and conveniently located for enjoying the many things to do in Decorah.

This was a lovely, quiet location near the north edge of Decorah where the children in the family were able to enjoy spotting deer and other wildlife, yet we were only a 5-minute drive to city center. The home had just the right spaces for 4 adults and 3 children to spend time together and apart. Our host communicated wonderfully and promptly. We enjoyed pizza at Luna Valley Farm, carry out from Rubaiyat, Impact Coffee, Magpie Cafe, feeding trout at the fish hatchery, beautiful Seed Savers Exchange, the waterfall at Dunning Springs, and shopping the great small businesses downtown. We saw a marriage proposal TWICE! Enchanting visit!

We just returned from a stay at the Farmhouse. All parts of this house and the area around it were accommodating to our group of 6. Mattine was great to work with and was always available when we had questions. Definitely a great trip!

Everything was very nice. The house is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen has everything we could want. The beds were comfortable. The location is very quiet. The yard is quite pleasant.

Perfect Stay

The house was perfect for our stay. Extremely clean and homey. It’s in a very quiet area, which I really liked. If the house is available, I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Decorah.
