Eagles View, unbeatable views, relax and unwind. Watch the eagles soar above whilst enjoying the peace and natural beauty of the surrounding area. At the top of a private road on 21 acres within easy reach of the city of Victoria and all that the Cowichan Valley has to offer. Enjoy coffee on one of the decks whilst soaking in the views, also a stargazers paradise come night time. The home has all the modern day conveniences air conditioning, modern kitchen with large Italian cooking range, comfy spacious living area and 4 bedrooms. Pet friendly, allowing one well behaved dog with prior notice, there is a small fenced area at the rear of the property for the dog to be let out when needed. Owners live in a separate dwelling on the property with their two dogs, available to answer any queries. Take a wine tour in the Cowichan Valley, visit local craft breweries or visit the local Malahat Skywalk. Wrigglesworth Lake a local swim spot 1Km away.

The accommodations were both spacious and clean with a modern stove/oven and refrigerator and plenty of cooking and serving dishes / utensils. The views are amazing both inside and from either of the porches. Mark and Emma were very responsive to all requests. We had a great family vacation there and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

This is a five star property.First, Emma and Mark are wonderful hosts. Everything about our stay was superb, and they left us the most thoughtful local gifts.The property is nothing short of stunning. The view literally have to be seen to be believed. It looks like AI but is very much real. It's also a very comfortable house for large groups (we were a group of six), the internet is fast (I had to work on several days), and they are dog friendly which is key for us.The location is perfect for exploring the Island.There are plenty of stores in the area, and Langford has a Thrifty (very nice grocery store) and BC Liquor store.I cannot recommend this property enough; truly one of the best we've ever rented via VRBO.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

My husband and I fell in love with the Cowichan Valley and in particular the area where we chose to build our dream place many years ago. We used to constantly head to the area to hike, breath and take in the stunning views and sunrises. Dreaming of eventually buying some land and building, we worked hard, saving and waiting for a time when we could make this a reality. We finally saw this start to come to fruition when our realtor informed us of the unique plot of land set on 21+ acres at the top of a private road that was about to come on the market. We jumped at the chance to view it and put in an offer straight away. Then came the hard part of securing builders for our budget and plans. We made it work after a rollercoaster of ups and downs building during COVID times. Knowing all the while that we wanted to provide accommodation that could welcome guests to enjoy the beauty that we also experienced here. We never get tired of the views and watching the eagles sore over, we have seen bears, cougars and Orcas in the water below whilst living here. But the sunrises are by far the most magical part and I always endeavour to rise before them so I can watch as many as I can.
