Nice weekend getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean, plenty of room. Great place to stay. Only complaints/recommendations would be the grill was in pretty bad shape, the beds were hard and there was no fire pit. So a new grill, some bed toppers and a fire table outside would make this place top notch. Definitely would recommend.

The house was clean, and the staff came back as we checked in to ensure we had clean linens. Second, the hot tub cleaners showed up to ensure that was good as well in the first few hours. Other than a few lightbulbs being out and the First level bathroom shower setting off the smoke alarm, it was a perfect house, great location for a fair price.

As described and pictures are accurate. Weather changed our plans so we reached out to inquire about an early check-in. We didn’t get a response until after the 4:00pm check-in time so that was a little disappointing. We understand that is unpredictable though so not a deal breaker by any means. We also reached out as the hot tub jets had hardly any pressure. The response was- our hot tub tech says it is normal as they are low pressure jets. The hot tub is important to us and this was not it. The jets were not as strong as an average bathtub jet. It was disappointing and they weren’t willing to even check it. The jets on the highest setting could only be softly felt in 2 seats. Overall, the house is nice, but this was disappointing for us.

We hope future readers will recognize that the home was, in fact, exactly as described in the listing and that the vast majority of the concerns raised here relate to expectations rather than the condition or accuracy of the property itself. The early check-in request was made during a very busy fall rental season. While we are always happy to accommodate an early arrival when possible, early check-in is not something we can guarantee. Additionally, on an active check-in day, an immediate response to a last-minute inquiry is not always possible. Regarding the hot tub, the water does reach the temperature of 104°F, and the jets are fully operational. As with any amenity, however, we cannot guarantee that the jet pressure will meet every individual guest’s personal preference. We’re sorry the guest was unable to enjoy their stay as much as we would have liked. That said, we do feel it is important to clarify that the items referenced in the review concern requests and personal preferences—not inaccuracies in the listing or a failure of the advertised amenities to function as described.

Property very nice, quiet and as listed. Lots of extra pillows and blankets which our party loved! Hot tub and check in very easy! It is a “lights off” community so lots of beautiful stars, just be careful if driving in after dark.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean and the inside architecture was nice. Could use a bit of a face-lift on the outside (no photos on website). Be prepared to bring first morning coffee as that was not supplied. And bath soap.It does State walk to the lake, by we were unable to see how that was possible.

You'll find trail maps at the Owners' Club, including an unpaved trail from Waterford Drive to Lake Galena. The home has a cozy cabin feel with a private outdoor hot tub. You can also view exterior photos on our website to get a better sense of the property and surrounding area. Before your arrival, you'll receive our digital guest guide, which outlines everything included with your stay. We provide propane, firewood, hot tub towels, bed linens, bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues. Just bring your toiletries, food, and beverages, and you'll be all set!

A great place to escape the every day hustle and bustle. It was quiet. Very peaceful and serene. No one was using the unit prior to our arrival so the manager let us arrive any time we'd like. No other place has given us that opportunity and we really appreciated it.

New Year Family Gathering

We had a very nice family gathering for New Years. Some people will say that the cabin looks old and required some upgrades but for us was okay and we liked the price. Overall the cabin was okay and we enjoyed staying here.

Only negative thing id say is the uncomfortable beds. Other than that the amenities provided were adequate and in a good area of the galena territory. 15 min drive into the town.

Gorgeous Galena Property

This was my first time taking a trip to Galena. I decided to make it a mother-daughter trip. The cabin itself was absolutely gorgeous! The hot tub was a hit as well! It was incredibly peaceful and serene. Downtown was only 10-12 minutes away and we enjoyed exploring, shopping and eating! The property owner was incredibly helpful when questions arose and answered lighting fast! I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to returning for future visits!
