We enjoyed our stay in this home. The host was responsive and the apartment was well kept and clean. The home was close to public transit or a short ride share to downtown.

The property is clean and well appointed with a good location in regards to the waterfront area, gas town and the airport being all fairly quick to get to as desired. The host is very friendly and very responsive to questions and other communication. Our only minor frustration was the tight streets in this area are like many others in the Vancouver area making driving a bit different depending on where you come from. That said the drivers were courteous and there was give and take to negotiate the many tight areas.We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great spot to stay if you're planning a trip to Vancouver, as it's ~15 minutes from most spots. It's a basement suite with a private entrance. The kitchen has everything you could need, and there are clear instructions posted. We were unfamiliar with separating the trash and were a little confused but figured it out. No shoes inside, there are slippers available. It's nice and private with good sound insulation. Street parking was iffy to find and we had to park a block away one time. Overall highly recommend, it's very clean and the location felt very safe.

The property is downstairs under the main house, which isn't mentioned in the description. This means you must carry luggage down narrow stairs and you can hear everything above you. The beds are essentially mattress toppers on wooden slats and the pillows are gel and shaped like a wave so they do not stack well. Because you are downstairs and the windows are mostly blocked out there is little natural light and no air flow which makes the place stuffy. The bathtub/shower is very high so may not be accessible for some people.Feng, the host, was very quick in responding to me and did get a plumbing issue fixed quickly.

We loved the location of the house: it was peaceful and quiet when we wanted to relax, yet conveniently close to the main roads and everything we needed. Check-in was extremely easy, and all the amenities and equipment listed were available as expected.The only minor surprise was that the bedding looked quite different from what was shown in the photos. It wasn't a major issue and was purely aesthetic, so we got over it quickly, but updating the pictures would help set more accurate expectations for future guests. Everything else was great!
