Gorgeous sunset views

This house was just the right size to fit my large family in for our annual Scallop trip. It has an amazing third floor for the young adults to play pool. While their playing pool the adults can enjoy the sunset from the huge porch.

This is one of my all-time favorite places. You can’t lose with this home. It’s so perfectly located that when the weather is too bad to do anything else, you can enjoy the storms from the deck. The pictures actually don’t do this place Justice. If you’re on the fence about it, speaking from experience, it’s totally worth it.

Listing is accurate. House ideally situated for quick access to fishing and scalloping. We had 4 groups of friends and they were all comfortable.

Amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this home

The home is laid out perfectly for multiple families and is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well stocked. We cooked several meals on the outdoor firepit/grill and also used the smoker and grill. The kitchen has everything you need and then some - griddle pans, small to large pans, plenty of dishes, bakeware and serving pieces. The outdoor space is amazing and had plenty of room for our group of 13 to clean scallops and fish and the icemaker downstairs was an added bonus that we used throughout our stay. The owners are friendly and inviting and were very responsive from the time we booked our reservation and during our stay they answered immediately with any question we had about the home and area. We are planning our 2024 trip and hope we have the opportunity to be hosted by this lovely couple.

They purchased it in June of 2020, and have been in the process of adding some very nice touches. New bathroom on the 4th floor FlyBridge; new large deck off the kitchen level balcony with a large 10 person hot tub and guests seating; additional dock area for Guests boat docking; 80 inch flat screen TV in the Living Room on the Kitchen level; new bathroom facility on the bottom floor, and an outdoor shower for boaters coming off the water; new beds and additional sleeping arrangements; and they have made the 4 level elevator more user-friendly for their guests. :)
This is truly the most spectacular home in Steinhatchee from its location, its quality of construction, its amenities, and its convenience.
Duane is a practicing attorney in Lake City, FL and Karen is recently retired from CenturyLink as Real Estate Transactions Specialists. They are going to make the property available for about 10 days each month for loyal renters, because they will be spending a significant amount of time at their Steinhatchee home with their large family of kids and grandkids, enjoying the great facilities and the great fishing from their boats parked in the boat lifts on the back side of the house.
