Horrible Management and Communication
The instructions for check-in did not include that you needed to go to a different gate in the neighborhood to get your pass at security. The guards were rude, gave poor instructions where to go to get the pass, and were obviously annoyed by having to continuously tell renters where to go which was evidenced by the long lines and people turning around at the gate each night.
Two TVs had non-working remotes. This issue was reported and resolved the following day.
Two shower:tub combos had faulty stops which caused the water to continue to come out of the tub spout while the shower head was on. This was reported and not resolved.
A live bedbug was found in one bed. No one was available with management, so 105 minutes were spent on the phone with VRBO. Nothing was done to resolve this due to the timing. The following day was spent emailing back and forth (16 emails total) with the management company, no policy was in place on how to handle the situation. We were just continuously asked what we were going to do. We were offered to check out early and receive a refund for our remaining stay or $100 to stay and not use the room. Assistance being re-housed was not offered even though it was requested. No one ever called from management even though calls were placed with messages asking for return calls. Customer service is not a priority with this company. The $100 inconvenience fee has yet to be seen. 10/10 would not staying in ANY property with Orlando Short Term Rentals.
