Stylishly furnished private 2-bedroom 2-bathroom top floor corner unit in the Village/downtown La Jolla on a quiet street in a neat looking feeling new Italian building. Comfortable beds with luxury bedding. 5-10 mins walk to the Vons grocery store, the Girard avenue shops, the Taco stand or award-winning restaurants. 15 mins walk to the Cove to visit singing seals and sea lions, or bright creatures underwater. 15 mins walk to the Scripps park to watch sunset over the ocean. 20 mins walk to Windansea beach which local surfers and swimmers love. Farmer’s market on Sunday just one block away. Washer & dryer in the unit. Central AC. 1055 sq.ft with a balcony. Life is beautiful in this home sweet home! Monthly rental only. Sorry, no smokers, no pets. Not a child-proofing property.

Loved it! Great location. Lots of room and close to everything!

We spent three months here, enjoying the natural beauty of La Jolla and easy access to everything you need - Sunday Farmer’s market, 5 min. away; restaurants galore; the beauty of the cove; cinema, grocery store, art museum, walk in clinic…. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Living and dining rooms have lots of space as do the two bedrooms. The building is quiet, safe and secure. Mary, the owner was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We intend to return as often as we can!

Great La Jolla location

We stayed at Mary’s condo for the entire month of August. The location was perfect for us: walking to many amazing local restaurants and the wonderful La Jolla Farmer’s Market, a short drive to the Cove and La Jolla Shores beach and just an all-around central location. While the condo was on the whole very comfortable (cool breezes through the windows, as well as A/C, there are a few observations for future guests. Personal storage is lacking. Both the bathrooms and kitchen are stocked with ‘stuff’. There was very little drawer space or storage left for our own things. It might be better to keep less stuff at the condo so guests can have sufficient space to store their own items. When you’re away for a month, you need your own personal space. Mary was responsive to our needs when we reached out and we did enjoy our time in La Jolla.

Month in La Jolla

Mary's condo was great. It's on the top floor of an upscale 21 unit apartment complex within walking distance of La Jolla Cove, the Marine Street beach, a big supermarket and a variety of restaurants. The condo has everything anyone could ask for. The kitchen is large enough for a table and chairs and the two bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. Mary was very responsive to all of our questions and requests and we felt very welcome. We were sorry to leave.

Wonderful stay in La Jolla

Mary was an amazing host! She always responded promptly and was extremely generous and made us feel at home. The apartment was impeccably decorated and the location was perfect. Thank you Mary!

Beautiful, convenient stay in La Jolla!

My partner and I stayed in Mary's place for 7 weeks and it was perfect for our needs! Two work spaces to allow for working from home, walking distance to many shops, groceries, coffee and 15min walk to the water. Modern building, quiet street. We had a car and didn't have any trouble parking on the street out the front. Highly recommend!

Working vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 month working vacation in this La Jolla home! The internet was awesome/stable and high speed :). Everything is walkable—coffee houses, market, a plethora of restaurant choices, shopping and of course the beaches and Mt Soledad. The owner kept in touch/was great at communicating with us. We hope to have another opportunity to stay in the future—Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The Perfect Spot

We were so happy with our stay at Mary's place in La Jolla. My girlfriend and I have been traveling and working remote and this place was perfect for our situation. - Mary was a great host. The check-in and check out were both incredibly smooth and she gave us some great recommendations of things to see and places to eat at in the area. Plus she left us a beautiful fruit basket when we checked in. - The location is great - walking distance to windandsea, La Jolla Cove and plenty of great restaurants. - The apartment was VERY clean - The beds were incredible, so comfortable - Internet connection was fast - Plenty of space for each of us to work I highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying again the next time we're in town.
