The first cottage we stayed in was not acceptable to us. The cottage was very dirty, the heat did not work and it was 30 degrees. Kristi had her cleaning lady attempt to fix the heat and it could not be fixed. Kristi then moved us to another rental that she had nearby that was in much better condition in every way. It was clean, the heat/ac worked and larger. The second house was acceptable and we thank Kristi for moving us. Kristi was in contact with us often and did try to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, Surfside Beach was not for us and we left early.

We had 4 adults and 3 children in our party and we had plenty of room. Great location with a short walk to the beach. Could have been cleaner but over all it was a great little house especially for the price. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again!

Great getaway-beach close!

Had a great stay with my 3 daughters. Close to beach, great house, and surroundings. Would definitely stay again! My eldest daughter needed to do a few work calls as she works an IT job remotely-had to stay slightly over the check out time and owner was fine with that. Truly appreciated!

This guest contacted me at 11:15pm after being at the property and obviously creating their own mess for 6 hours. Not one call was made upon arrival and my outdoor camera saw them coming and going several times. Had a phone call been made upon arrival, I would’ve immediately sent my Cleaning crew to check out their concerns, but this did not happen.. I believe this was simply a case of wanting a vacation without having to pay for it not to mention the phone call was extremely argumentative and literally got me out of bed after 11 PM at night. Horrible behavior.

Great beach getaway!

My husband and I needed a little beach getaway, and this was a great place for it! It was perfect for the two of us, however, definitely roomy enough for more! Everything we needed was provided. The beach is so close, a minute's walk. And of course the bar/grill located between the beach and home was a perk! We enjoyed the Seahorse a few times :) Kristi was great at communicating with us and even checked in to see how things were going. We would definitely stay here again, thanks Kristi!

Great location

Location was great, however, the smell of mold was overwhelming when entering the home. The living area has mold. It was really bad. I had to go to the porch area often just to breathe fresh air. The counters were not clean when we arrived neither was the refrigerator. When I pulled the trash bag out of the kitchen trash can there was brown gunk in the bottom of the can. For the cleaning fees tied to VRBO this place should have been spotless!

The “smell” was from the deck being recently oiled. I have an amazing cleaning staff that has thoroughly examined any possibility of mold and there is NONE. I was at the home days before your stay and also found no evidence or smell. Making a claim like this publicly when zero attempt was made to contact me w any issues is harsh. My hope for anywhere else you visit would be that you would immediately reach out to a host if you have an issue. We cannot fix something that we are not notified about.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The kids had bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. The. Oven cooks great and plenty of room For us. The beach was a short walk away along with a restaurant to have breakfast or dinner if you didn’t feel like cooking. We would stay again
