Very wonderful property! The house is so clean and you can tell is lovingly maintained. Beautiful inside and out. Also if you’re a parent of a George Fox student. You cannot get a much better location than right across the street! The hot tub was a fun bonus as well. We had an amazing time and hope to stay there again soon

This charming historic home had everything we hoped for and more. The location was ideal, and the décor especially the collection of antique clocks added so much personality.The sofa, beds, and furniture were all very comfortable, which made it easy to relax. We especially loved the cozy fireplace and soaking in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to unwind & we would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful Victorian home with antique decor. Hot tub was clean and perfect temperature. Bed was extremely comfortable! Great location. Walking distance to downtown Newberg and great coffee shop. 10” drove to wineries. Cooked dinner 2 nights with all dishes / utensils that we needed . This was our 2nd visit and we will return.

Leigh was amazing in showing us around the house and all that was available. Hot tub immaculate with awesome privacy. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. So many wineries less than 25 minutes away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We have stayed in VRBOs all over the world and we have rarely found one as comfortable as Leigh’s house. She gave us a quick orientation whenever we arrived and the house was just charming. A well supplied kitchen, extra pillows if needed and a great location. We definitely want to come back!

Our stay was top notch. This house is unique and amazing! It was like a museum stepping back in time with comfort and convenience. Leigh is extremely communicative and flexible and accommodated our needs. The house is walking distance to restaurants, bars, and cafes. Highly recommend!

I have always loved the historic buildings and close knit neighborhoods in this northern part of Newberg. Many years ago, I was delighted to jump at the opportunity when I saw a realtor installing a 'For Sale' sign on the property that would become U House. I've restored four houses in this part of town, nurturing them from various states of disrepair into beautiful homes. My love of antiques shows throughout the house, as many of the furnishings are family heirlooms. In my forty years of living in the Willamette Valley, I continue to be amazed at the astonishing variety available here. Downtown Newberg is full of character with an intimate, easy-going atmosphere. The mid-valley area is so spectacular in its geography, recreational choices, abundant wildlife, agricultural diversity and artistic community, yet also close to town and city environments. I enjoy being able to go from valley to mountain to desert in a few hours to the East, or West through the Coast Range to some of the most stunning coastline to be found anywhere. Allow us to introduce you to this unique part of the world, or assist you in deepening your own appreciation of what our area has to offer. Welcome to the U House...your home away from home while visiting Yamhill County.
