Farmhouse Cabin In The Country

We invite you to come relax with us.

Welcome to our Farmhouse Cabin in the Country located in Burke County Nature’s Playground. Our cozy luxury cabin sleeps 6 and provides a relaxing comfortable stay. Features Fast WiFi, Fire Pits, Fireplaces, Theater Seating, 65inch TV, Xbox, wireless printer.

The kitchen has all the essentials that you would need to prepare all of your meals. There is a Dishwasher, Airfryer, Microwave, Large Refrigerator...We provide a washer/dryer for your convenience.

The bedroom features two queen beds.
If you need an extra spot to sleep, we provide an air mattress too.

The bathroom has plenty of storage for all of your toiletries. There is an electric fireplace to keep you warm on chilly mornings.

Watch TV on the large screen and kick back in our Theater seating recliners. Choose from a variety of XBox games. You can also log into your own Netflix, Hulu or other streaming subscription. We have lightning fast Wi-Fi!

We have a Tiny Home to the left of the Cabin that has its own Fire Pit and parking area.
There is a private home on the property as well.
Quiet enjoyment of the Cabin and exterior of the Cabin is expected.
In the mornings, sip coffee outside while rocking in the rocking chairs and listening to the birds chirp or catch a glimpse of the hummingbirds! In the back of the Cabin, you have a private Firepit (as well as one in front of the Cabin) and seating area with exterior lighting.

We have a Cornhole game on the side of the Cabin. Challenge your family to a friendly game or two. Feel free to venture to the shallow creek at the end of the property, there are signs to point you in the right direction.

South Mountains State Park is close by and has many beautiful trails to explore. Be sure to take the hike to the waterfall. Its so worth it!

VRBO disclosure: There is video monitoring on the exterior of our Cabin for your security and for the security of our Cabin in between guests.
There is a security camera on the fireplace in the living room that is also used to monitor between guests. It is to be unplugged as soon as you arrive and then plugged back in as you depart.

Rural Mountains

It is a fairly quiet area, I was here on work so I did not get the opportunity to get out in the community. The property managers have been great to deal with.

Beautiful setting for tranquil retreat.

Highly recommend Daisy’s cabin for a tranquil retreat. Hosts couldn’t have been better. Everything you need is there and more.

Great place for 2 and wonderful hosts

House is cute, comfy, and clean. Great TV/living area and adjoining kitchen space. Has enough space for our dog to poop, etc. A couple of the houses on the way "up the mountain" are not well cared for but I've found that's the norm for "the mountains". We'll rebook next time we want to stay near Hickory/Morganton.

Cute cabin the the country.

Stayed here while traveling for Thanksgiving. The cabin was very clean, and well stocked with everything you need. It has a nice open floor plan and a fun rustic feel. The back yard is nice and private. WIFI and TV were more than adequate. Owners were wonderful to work with.

Sweet Little Cabin

This cabin is perfect for a small family like ours as we had plenty of space to relax but were able to stay close and enjoy our time together. The appliances are nice and made it easy to have quick meals for the crew. We also enjoyed the fire pit which was equipped with plenty of chairs and lights overhead, my kids thought this was awesome! The TV was great and we really liked the ability to sign in and stream our TV channels while there. Unlike many mountain rentals, this place has fast and steady wifi which was a major plus and actually sold us on this rental over others. We made trips to Valdese, Hickory, and Morganton during our stay and all were within an easy 30 minute drive. Overall we had a very nice stay at this cabin and would definitely recommend the rental.

Wonderful experience!

We head up to this area from Florida once or twice every year to get away from the heat. This was our first time staying at this property and it was fantastic! We stay at a lot of VRBO‘s because we like to travel with our dogs and this property had everything that you could possibly need (& more) to enjoy a fantastic relaxing vacation. They provided everything from kitchen supplies to toiletries & Lysol wipes, hand sanitizers, laundry soap, hair dryer, firewood... basically everything you could want. You do share the property with some other residents, but they kept to themselves, it was quite, & there is a very private backyard area with a lovely fire pit set up that we used a few times. The area by the tiny creek was actually fun to sit at and listen to the water and look for beautiful rocks. The location is not far (10-20 mins) from a few different grocery stores & restaurants, but more importantly it’s 15 minutes from the amazing south mountain state park & only an hour from Asheville and many other beautiful North Carolina waterfall hiking and fishing trails. The owners were very responsive to everything we needed – above and beyond! They responded to every message we sent on the Vrbo site within hours (usually within minutes). We actually got our car stuck in the mud on check out day (our fault – we drove off of the driveway- don’t try that unless you have 4-wheel drive) and the owners & cleaning woman teamed up to help us pull out of the mud! Again – everyone was SO nice. We have Verizon and did not get reception at the cabin but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. In summary, don’t hesitate to stay at this amazing cabin. It is clean and a delightful place to get away.

Great cabin for a getaway.

This cabin is very clean and nicely furnished. Gas grill and full kitchen make it easy to cook all your meals there. We LOVE the firepit in the back. Owners have done a great job with this place. We'd come back!
