The electrical issue reported on the first evening was traced to a cable that had accidentally been pinched during cleaning before arrival. An electrician attended first thing the following morning and repaired the issue. Regarding the microwave, it was intact before check-in, no member of our team entered the villa during the guests’ absence, and the glass was found shattered during your stay. We nevertheless offered 30% compensation for the nights affected by the electrical inconvenience and the temporary unavailability of the microwave. Villa Marie is designed as an open Caribbean-style property, with large roll-up openings connecting the living areas to the terrace and outdoor space. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, while the open-plan common areas are naturally ventilated.
