This townhouse is found at Barrier Dunes Community which is a nature lovers paradise nestled next to T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Beautiful birds, gorgeous white sand, and clear turquoise ocean water are the norm for this area. Situated on a small pond offering turtle viewing from the screen porch each morning, a play ground for children across the street and the beach within walking distance the home is the perfect place for you. Two bedrooms and two baths upstairs, kitchen, dining, laundry, living area, screen porch, and half bath on the main floor, entrance is on the ground floor.

Wonderful

The property is very well maintained, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and more. It was very comfortable for our family.It’s just a short walk to the beach, passing a pond where we saw turtles, definitely a highlight if you have little ones.Communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. They shared great recommendations and tips on things to do and places to eat. We truly felt well taken care of.We will definitely want to come back

The home is located in a quiet and safe gated community. It is a 5 minute walk to the ocean and both pools are a few minute walk from the home. The home is very clean and comfortable. The one thing that wasn’t 5 stars is the twin bed. It was a mattress in the closet that had to be used on the floor. We loved the turtle pond also. The last evening there were also 2 small alligators in the pond. It is a beautiful area and we had a great time.

Wonderful

Property and owners are wonderful! We loved every second at the cape and this property was perfect for my family of 4. We made memories playing games and watching the turtles in the pond right out back. Super clean and felt just like home. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and the state park that is near by was breathtaking. Super thankful to have spent a week here!

Perfect Vacation!

Spent the week here with my parents and my boyfriend and 5 year old. The house was clean and had everything we needed, a playground right across the street that we enjoyed along with feeding the turtles every morning! It was a 4 minute walk to the beach! It was a perfect week of vacation!

Clean and comfortable

Palmetto trade winds was perfect for our most recent visit to San Blas. Loved having the grill and the screen porch with the tower fan and comfortable furniture. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice unit. We've stayed several times. The unit is clean and well maintained, the owners are kind and responsive and the location is perfect for us. Short walk to the beach but easy access, private and quiet.

Fantastic Fall Break Stay

Palmetto Tradewind was our favorite townhouse at Barrier Dunes of all time! We have stayed in Barrier Dunes many times over the years. It was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and the reservation process and check-in were very easy. It is an end unit which was very nice. We enjoyed having two pools and easy beach access. The short drive (5 min) to St. Joseph State Park made it easy to spend an enjoyable day there too! The one big bonus for our grandchildren was seeing a ton of manta rays (up close and personal) at the beach in the park. We even saw an electric ray which was a totally new experience to us all 😬 A big thank you to the Morgan’s for sharing their beautiful home! We hope to stay with you again soon👍

Cape San Blas Wedding

The condo is just right. All the right essentials and very nicely decorated, but not over the top and over done. Porch is fantastic. Beach access is easy with a community pool right on the beach.

Great place to stay

The townhome was well appointed with everything we needed. It was very clean and well organized. It is a short walk to the pool and beach. My granddaughter enjoyed the playground. I can definitely recommend Palmetto Tradewind.

Perfect Week

One of the best condos we’ve stayed in at Barrier Dunes. Exceptionally clean condo and a well stocked kitchen. We like to bake and the kitchen has all the necessities! Love the carpet on the stairs at entrance. Loved having the keyless entry, but we didn’t always use it correctly. The screened in porch was great too. We hope we get to stay there again soon!

Beautiful condo

We had a great visit, everything was so nice. Short walk to to beach and pools, condo was well equipped. Perfect beach get away, to bad the weather didn’t cooperate more.

Near The State Park and Webers Donuts

We love the noth end of the cape because the State Park entrance is so close..uncrowded stretches of beach. 149 Parkside was clean and well appointed for our stay as in we did not feel like we needed to go buy any cookware, utensils etc. All appliances work fine. My wife is a clean-a-holic and she had no complaints.

Great Time in Cape San Blas

Wonderful stay

Well appointed unit with just the right touches and amenities. The owners are really easy to work with and responsive. Its off the beach but we like the short walk and the privacy being in the back of Barrier Dunes. Its also on one of the lakes. Great unit for 2-4 people. Our 2nd (or maybe 3rd) time staying here and its always a pleasure. Wife and I would love to come back again.

Clean and Well Furnished!

We have stayed in Barrier Dunes several times through the years always in different units. This one was wonderful! Clean, Nicely Furnished, and Nicely stocked kitchen. There is a nice screen porch where we did a lot of reading. Jerry and Candie were really responsive and great to work with, we would recommend this unit and will rent again if we can!

Return trip to the Cape

We have had many trips to the Cape. We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked and the washer and dryer were very convenient to have in the unit. We did notice the beds were not very comfortable. I’m not sure the queen bed was really a queen and the king bed in the master was not very comfortable according to my BIL. Overall, the property was as listed, however could use some updating (carpet on the stairs and upstairs bedrooms did not match) and the stairs in the back need some new boards.

Also the new children's playground is located 100 yards from the front door. The heated pool is a 2 minute walk.
