Point of View...Fabulous classic Otsego Lake home...fully renovated/fully air conditioned and updated to meet the demands of vacationing travelers. This home is as great on the inside as it is on the outside. Just over 5 miles from Cooperstown, on the west side of Otsego Lake, Point of View provides you with a commanding perch overlooking the north end of the lake. 4 queen bedrooms (one room with a pull out queen couch), provide very comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests.
All new furnishings in the living and dining rooms.
Point of View is located just over 5 miles from Cooperstown...a beautiful and easy 8 minute drive. Perched on a small rise, the views from the home, decks and patios are wide and wonderful. An outside "pub" area provides a perfect spot for evening drinks and a bbq. The yard around the home is large and perfect for children to romp and enjoy the countryside.

Down the steps and across the road, is 100 feet of private, exclusive lake frontage where 4 new kayaks (with lifejackets and paddles provided) are ready for fun! The dock can be used for a rental boat (or bring your own). Fishing is excellent right from the dock (or from the kayaks).

Perfect location for our Cooperstown trip

We enjoyed this property with 2 other families. It was a great location for relaxing on the lake after being on the baseball fields. We relaxed in the quiet beauty of Otsego lake and the amenities that this lakefront home had to offer.

Wonderful Stay

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this home. Our son played at Cooperstown All, Star, Village, and this was the ideal place to stay. Waking up every morning to the beautiful lake while eating breakfast, was one of the highlights of our trip. Our kids fished, we relaxed, and it’s a wonderful home to entertain others as well. We couldn’t have been happier.

What a great place to stay. Cooperstown a short 12 minutes away and right on the awesome Lake Otsego and, it was surprisingly warmer then I thought it would be. And the four bedrooms and party deck are outstanding for a big group. Very nice.

Perhaps a map of how to locate the property would be helpful as cell service is limited. We did enjoy the property and our stay in Cooperstown.

Private, Peaceful and Well Located!

Great for family getaways with amazing water views! We loved the easy access to the lake—especially having the kayaks available, which were a big hit with everyone. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the whole family. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, which was perfect for relaxing and playing cornhole. A perfect spot to unwind and make lasting memories!

Great place for a family get away

The house was beautiful as was the view. Great access to cooperstown without actually staying in town. Perfect for a family gathering. Wonderful spot to enjoy the fall leaves!

We loved the kayaks, the lake and the si3 of the house it was missing large k Ives. ZteK k Ives, storage containers SR. Wrap. Tin foil And no ice maker very expensive week to have all of this missing. also no bedside lamps anywhere

Having spent my childhood years on Otsego Lake, I was able to enjoy all kinds of water activities like boating and skiing. When our children were born, my wife and I decided to return to Cooperstown and introduce our children to the same types of outdoor activities. They now love spending time with friends on the water, or even just sitting on the dock or around the fireplace; all are special ways of spending quality time.
