Come enjoy this beautiful cozy lake front cottage on Long Pond. Direct access to the lake off your own dock and deck (seasonal). Bring your boats and launch from the the town boat launch less than a mile away. You will have use of a kayak, outside fire pit, and there is nothing better than spending time in the outside screened in porch and deck overlooking the lake. Only 20 minutes to ferry for the Vineyard and Nantucket and within an hour of Cape Cod, Boston, and Providence.

This home is incredibly relaxing, and well appointed. The owners communicate clearly, and kindly, and I cannot recommend their home highly enough.Beautiful location on Long Pond

Great relaxing place

This cottage was perfect for our family. The lake was peaceful, got to see the swans every 2 days swim by. The cottage was well stocked with items for everyday use. The property was well maintained.

Nice fall getaway

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend on the lake, and this was nearby. We really enjoyed our stay at the place is very clean and well stocked and everything works well. The dock was perfect for my small boat and the fishing was good despite being late this season. The lake holds some monstrous pickerel! the owner was easy to work with, but we had no real need to contact him. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Weekend

The property was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit, the enclosed porch, and the outside deck. The deck at the water was beautiful but a bit hard to get the kayaks down and back up before leaving. The beds were good but there was a piece of the upper bunk railing not there and it made one of the guests nervous to sleep there the second night. Also having one bathroom for us was not enough but over all it was a great weekend. We would defiantly recommend for friends.

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!!

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage situated in a quiet small lakeside neighborhood. Gas, restaurants and convenience stores were a short drive away. We were 5 minutes away from the local Catholic Church. The cottage was immaculately clean and very well stocked with needed supplies. There were ample basic cooking supplies. The check- in process was easy and the owner was very quick to reply when we had a question or two. We vacationed with our dog. I liked the gates on the two separate decks which kept her contained to the areas we were in. Three Kayaks, horseshoes, and games were available for our use. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were a definite plus to our stay. Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The area was very peaceful and private. We look forward to staying here again when we return to the area=)

MEET SWEET BABY JAMES

We needed a nice out of the way place to stay close to our daughter who just had her first baby and our first grandchild. We brought our 2 dogs with us. This cottage did NOT disappoint. It had EVERYTHING you could need with great instructions on checking in and out, along with tips for the washer, dryer , etc - I really felt comfortable from the get go. There was ample space for everything - even the 2 dogs and we could keep them safe with gates, and the screened in porch. Add the spectacular sunrise - at front of house and sunset in the rear - it was truly a magical trip and our grandson is a gem! Hope to be our go to place - when we visit Massachusetts. Thank you so much. The new gramps and grams

Very nice little cottage

I was very happy with the place. It is very nicely kept on the inside. One of the advantages of it is that it has both a screened in porch and an open air deck, both of which face the lake. On top of that it has a small deck with several chairs right down at the water. We spent some time sitting on the deck, right at the water. But the view of the water is pretty good even from the deck and the porch. Overall I was very happy with it. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

A Lakehouse Far Exceeded Our Expectation

We just checked out and wanted to thank Ryan and Christine being such gracious hosts. They are on top of things and the communication is always prompt. The house is super clean with all the extras such as the kayaks, bike (we did not use), swing, hammock, and many other items to keep the guests entertained. We love the pier and especially the screened in sun room where we watched many glorious sunset. The lake is very calm and not too deep by the pier. Our dog Riley learned how to swim while there. Highly recommend this place.

Serenity on Long Pond

We had a fantastic stay, so quiet. The home is really set up well, my Granddaughter loved the swing. Access to the lake is very easy to get to. Thank you for the use of the kayaks, they were fun. I hope the rest of your summer is great. Thank you again.

Lakefront vacation

Very favorable. The location is excellent. The cottage was just right for us, and Lucy, our Maltese. Very quiet and restful. Lots of good restaurants close by. Great west exposure so we did catch a few nice sunsets. Easy drive to both New Bedford and the Cape. Property very well maintained and very clean. Equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Ryan was responsive and courteous. We will definitely consider a return visit and highly will recommend this property to others.

Long Pond Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely, peaceful property on the water away from the hustle and bustle but convenient to a lot of sightseeing. Only 20 minutes to the ferry for Martha’s Vineyard/Nantucket and an hour from Boston, Cape Cod & Newport. Loved having morning coffee and evening beverages on the dock. The owners are local and very friendly and responsive to any questions or issues.

Beautiful and relaxing

I gifted my husband (who has been staying home with our two little ones during covid) with a weekend getaway here, and he loved it! He sat on the dock and watched the sunrise and sunset, grilled and made fires in the fire pit, and had a fantastic time away from it all. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful, relaxing get-away

The cottage was immaculate and well-stocked. There is a large screened in breezeway as well as a deck, so you can be outside in nearly any weather. It's lovely to sit on the dock and the lake was very clean and quiet. We were really happy with our stay and would come back.
