Z Cabin is located west of Ft Worth (about one hour drive) on beautiful Lake Palo Pinto. The cabin is waterfront and is steps away from boating, swimming, and fishing.

There is a fully furnished kitchen and beds to sleep 6 (temporary beds are available for two additional guests; please request in advance).

The front porch offers unobstructed views of the lake and two 'country' swings for relaxing or watching lake activities or evening sunsets.

Guests can bring their boat and keep it in the private dock during their stay.

A grill is located near the porch for outdoor cooking. A fire pit is located near the water for roasting hot dogs or making s’mores or just enjoying the evening around the đŸ”„.

The closest town is Santo (7 miles) which hosts a small General Store for groceries, gas and bait. This store is not open on Sundays. A convenience store in Santo is open 7 days a week. It has limited groceries and gas.

Please note that cell phone reception is limited in this rural area. WiFi is available once you are on the property. TV service is provided via several streaming packages.

Our family enjoyed gathering and celebrating our Grandson’s Birthday. Granma and Papi had all 5 grandboys and it was perfect! Very clean, all the necessities and every game you can think! We will absolutely be booking again!

Stayed 4 days. Well maintained. Exactly as advertised, rustic cabin. Not 5 star hotel, but clean and comfortable. Ive stayed here before. Fishing was better last time, but I caught something evetyday. Quiet and relaxing 99% of the time. Well worth the price.

Weekend getaway

My family was able to spend the weekend at this site. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed fishing, cooking and eating together - played games and able to get away from the hustle of life. The serene atmosphere is just what we needed. Great WiFi was a plus though we spend most of our time outdoors -

Great fishing

Property owner is great. Vrbo was difficult to use. Plenty of parking. Easy access off paved road. Fished off the shore and the dock that is 60ft from the back door. Caught catfish, large mouth bass, white bass, bluegill and some little hybrid I've never seen before. Sun-Fri the area is very quiet. The layout of Z Cabin worked great. Plenty of beds upstairs. Indoor/Outdoor games galore. Everything worked as it should. The kitchen has all you need. Plenty of towels and linens. Plan to stay again sometime next year

Awesome Place

Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. Awesome place. Great little log cabin. Highly recommend giving this spot a chance. You will mot be disappointed.

Extra room for Christmas

We had a great stay at Cabin Z. It was just a short drive to my parents and the cabin had everything we needed. The decor was warm and we enjoyed our stay.

We weren’t there for long but it was genuinely great , the property was beautiful and the owner was extremely helpful when the main road was flooded , and absolute the best customer service ever received from the woman at the pizza/convenient store near by.

Description did not do justice to the quality of this property. Better than expected and attention to detail by the owner was pleasant surprise. Cleanliness was outstanding. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay again.

Adorable cabin

The cabin was absolutely adorable and better than expected! Boat dock was perfect for our boat and for swimming off of. Owner is a very nice lady who communicates well. Would definitely stay again.

Glad we made it back.

I love this little cabin on the lake. One thing I do have to comment on, is that the boat ramps for the lake do not work so well with the lake at 50% full, but PK is not a bad fall back lake and it is super close. This was my second stay at this cabin.

Cozy, Family friendly, Great Lake location

We had the best weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy, with a great porch facing the lake. Very nice spot on the lake where we caught really nice fish, and swim with our 6 year old twins right off of the dock. Our host and her granddaughter helped make our daughter’s weekend wonderful! Definitely a lake rental worth booking.

Great hidden getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We even caught a good thunderstorm and the front porch and porch swings were awesome to sit and watch it go by. Very peaceful.

Perfect getaway

Cabin was cute, cozy, clean - the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped. The back porch with rocker and swings was wonderful. Last but no least, it was right on the lakefront. We dropped our kayak in, and fished from the dock. Good fishing!

Great getaway

The cabin exceeded my expectations. Wonderful place we even met the neighbor who was very kind. We fished, they were biting in the evening and threw back. The ambiance was fabulous especially the way the owner decorated the interior. This is an EXCEPTIONAL relaxation getaway.

Great getaway!

Our family of five enjoyed our weekend stay here. It was so nice to get away from the distractions of everyday busy city life. We brought our fishing rods and floats and fished and swam right off the dock and caught many catfish, crappie, and bass. The cabin is very nice and clean and offers all you need for cooking, cleaning, and showering. We brought a big cooler with groceries so, that’s the only recommendation I’d have for anyone thinking about staying here. There are limited stores available and the nearest Walmart is 15 miles away. It was such a relaxing trip and we look forward to staying again. Thanks for accommodating our family!
