Easy walk to beach & 6 restaurants. Our 1950’s cottage gets great reviews!

With two living areas there is room for the book reader, the game player, or the TV viewer. We created a small home office area for those of you lucky enough to work from “home”!

We of course hope we share enough travel and dining tips you’re just there to sleep and relax before your next days outing! There is a nice kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven. A gas grill in the back patio helps for dining in options.

This 1950’s cottage take you back to a simpler time yet with all the comforts expected! Two FULL BATHROOMS make it comfortable for family and friends.

We’ve completed a full exterior renovation with new porches, Azec decking, roof and paint! There is seating on both the screened and open sides of the porch, as well as the backyard.

We keep our home sprayed quarterly for bugs and and we clean to the highest standards!

Once you book, I am always available via VRBO messaging or give me a call/text. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!

What can I say
 this sweet home was absolute perfection for our family! Stuart’s home was well equipped for not only the adults in our family, but she was considerate enough to have baby gear waiting for us for our son. She was prompt with replies to any questions we had, and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do on the island. The house was impeccably clean, inside and out. We cannot wait to come back!

Great Neighborhood & Easy Access

We enjoyed our visit to St Simons and our stay in this home. We only used one bedroom, but there are three, and there is an extra "bonus room" where my husband worked remotely a couple of days. Right behind the Crap Trap, it's in a wonderful location for walking to bars and restaurants, and the neighborhood is great to walk as well. Very important to me is that one of my legs is in a boot. Myrtle Street is a block away, and that gives such easy access to the beach. You can even skip the boardwalk and walk right on! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Stuart, the owner, is very responsive and got back to us immediately with anything we needed, including questions ahead of time.

Wonderful Host and Home

The pictures really dont do this house justice. there is so much space and is so comfortable. Stuart was so easy to work with and she continuously checked in on us to make sure our stay was going well. She cares deeply about the guests experience in her home and I couldn't reccomend this place enough. The location is also amazing.

Great location great house

We stayed over spring break. The island was busier than we were used to but the house and the location were tremendous. The front porch is great for sitting with your family, listening to music and relaxing. The house has plenty of room for at least 6 people maybe more (it was just the four of us). The house is a short walk to the beach and a stones throw to some of our favorite restaurants. Stuart was easy to get ahold of but honestly we didn’t need her. Couldn’t ask for a better host, house or location for our family of four.

Delivered as promised

"Easy Walk to Beach" was a spacious cottage with a good location. Proximity to restaurants [Crab Shack/King and Prince] and short walk to the beach. Lot of goodies upon arrival and the things you need. Stuart was most helpful and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend it.

Great Thanksgiving Gathering

What a terrific property for a wonderful family and friends Thanksgiving. Perfect location and amazing attention to detail for guests’ comfort. Such an easy checkin and stay. So many thing supplied in the kitchen. Felt like home from the minute you walk in the door. Great beach memories made this past week. We will be back!

Perfect location

Overall excellent house, and great location. Will stay at this house again if we come back to this area for vacation. One thing I have to mention, is that they took the time to label all the light switches. Makes so easy to know what to turn on or off. These are just of the many things that make this place exceptional.

I’m originally from St. Simons Island and I’m always happy to share our “go-to” spots, charter groups, favorite beach and dining spots!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This neighborhood is quintessential St Simons! The surrounding neighbors are nice, quiet and typically full time residents. This house is off a main road so safe for bike riding for children and just 2 quick shaded blocks to the beach. It’s one of the most perfect neighborhoods on the island.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This house has great happiness within the walls. My family has always felt it and we’ve had several guests mention there seems to be a happy spirit within the walls! (Don’t freak out 
.. I’m not talking about ghosts!) It’s comfortable without feeling like a cheesy beach house. There are no hallways so the house doesn’t feel small
. The porches make the outdoor living perfect!
