Perfect beach view right in front of you. Condo provided good kitchen supplies to cook in. Linens provided . Nice pool area and wonderful beach.

Overall the stay was very good. Amenities could use updating but that did not overshadow the sea colony experience and the amazing view from the 8th floor. Very roomy unit.

Family trip

Only issues I had was the shower curtain was ripped off the rod on both sides and was not addressed or fixed after reporting it. And the pool coming at 6 on Sunday’s. Other then that it was very clean and we slept like babies

Mother's day trip

Beautiful sunrise views, short walk to Bethany for ice cream. Short drive to OC for a rainy day movie, and Rehoboth for skeeball!

Mother's Day Getaway

We came down for Mothers day weekend and this beautiful condo was perfect for a getaway! The condo is great and the Sea Colony has amazing amenities as well! Bethany is a quiet relaxing beach and its conveniently located in the middle of the Delaware beaches with easy access to everyrhing from rehoboth dowm to OCMD. Wonderful place, would definitely stay again!

Great off-season weekend at the beach

Our family (kids ages 6 & 9) and two adults stayed at this great location on the beach. Many amenities were closed, but the heated indoor pool and outdoor pools were perfect. Location is ideal for biking along the Bethany boardwalk nearby and walking right on to the beach. Quiet during off-season is also a plus for families.

This property was perfect for us. I loved seeing the ocean from the living and dining rooms. Sitting on the balcony and looking at the ocean was very relaxing. The property was clean and nicely furnished. Everyone was respectful about wearing masks and keeping social distance. I would stay here again!

Perfect location, great social distancing

Sea Colony did a great job with the social distancing. Everyone wore masks on the elevator, one family on the elevator at a time, masks when close together, umbrellas 10 feet apart on beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was small, but stocked with plates and cooking utensils. We would stay here again.

Great apartment with a view

We went in late April when the colony was below capacity, but the ocean water was too cold to venture in. Luckily my two teenage boys were content with basking in the sun on the beach and playing soccer while using the indoor heated pool right next to Dover house in the adjacent building as the substitute.

1970s meets the Sea

The caption says it all. It’s a mix-match of original features (sinks, shower, W/D, dishes) and sea-themed everything. The primary room bed is large but you’d better like sleeping on a mushy egg-crate (think college dorm style) and not have back issues. The living room is fantastic tho. Very comfortable and a perfect view. Lots of storage space and a lovely place to unwind.

Everything Was Great Except...!

We have been to this resort before but stayed previously in a townhome in the main part of the resort because we had our kids and grandkids with us. This time, because it was just my wife and I, we stayed in one of the high rise buildings directly on the beach...Dover House 806. Everything was as described including the too soft mattress on the primary bedroom bed that other people had also commented on. Other than that the unit was set up with everything you need for an enjoyable stay; and we did enjoy our stay. The only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that a brand new pair of Nike shorts, which I had bought at the outlet store and never worn was left on the kitchen counter and not returned to me. I had just taken the tags off in the kitchen and was distracted while packing to go home and I left them on the kitchen counter and forgot to pack them. I cotacted Vacasa, who in turn contacted housekkeping. Housekeeping said it was a private cleaning person who cleaned thi owner's unit and she said she did not find my shorts. Well, both my wife and I knew I left them there and exacty where they were left. Apparently the cleaner must have needed them more than I did. As much as that irks me, I would not hesitate to return to Sea Colony in the future. Note to owner...you might want to find a new cleaning person!

Dirty Floors

We enjoyed our stay! How could you not enjoy yourself being right on the beach. Now’ll our issues. The WiFi was very weak especially on the balcony. Stained carpets and we had to keep our shoes on because the floors needed to be cleaned so our feet would turn black.

Relaxing weekend

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The view is great from the large balcony, living room and master bedroom. The unit itself is bigger than it seems in the photos. As others have mentioned it is a bit dated - a new couch and some updates to the kitchen would go a long way, but it was clean and otherwise pretty cozy. The master bed was more comfortable than expected with a memory foam topper. The private beach with Sea Colony was wonderful and still pretty empty in late April.
