Things I wasn't happy about

Missing glass shelf in refrigerator. Dishwasher was not unloaded, had food particles and water in the bottom, was not working properly. Hand washed dishes all week. Dining chair legs were loose. Table and chairs were sticky.

Pretty nice, ocean front view; basic kitchen needs a few amenities; no books or games for enterta...

The unit is fairly spacious for six people. The tile floor throughout was easy to keep clean of sand. The provided sheets and bath towels were an unexpected amenity (note the towels pictured in the photos, which should have been a clue), although dirty sheets on at least one of the beds prompted us to remove them and use our own. Decor is pretty bland but expected for a rental unit. The unit is not supplied with any books, games or puzzles so make sure you bring your own entertainment. The kitchen includes both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, both of which we used. There were no baking sheets at all so if you want to bake things like pizza, chicken nuggets, cookies, etc. you will have to improvise or perhaps use the bottom of the broiler pan or use the toaster oven. Lastly, the ice maker does not work, although there are a couple of ice trays in the freezer. We used them to make ice and stored extra in a bowl that we placed in the freezer. The door to the hall bathroom does not lock, so those using it need to make sure to knock before entering. Despite the few inconveniences, the unit was basically what we expected and gave us a nice ocean view, quick access to the ocean and heated pools. Overall, we had a good time.

Not too impressed

This place needs some work…the AC didn’t work for the first 2 days, the ice maker doesn’t work, the sliding door to the one bedroom was broken, the chair on the deck was broken. Additionally the unit was only marginally clean when we got there. The beddings could use a good washing and the pillows were old and not too clean looking..finally one of the vertical blinds for the sliding glass doors was ripped off and laying on the floor (I was able to reattach the broken blind with a bread wrapper), I am not too fussy and have stayed in many cabins and tents..but this place needs some TLC.

Great space and view.

Very nice place. We would stay again but the bath rooms need upgrading badly. The kitchen faucet is extremely old as well. Other than that very comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking!

Amazing view.

We stayed for 5 days in October, 4 adults and 1 child. The accommodation was clean and bright. The beds were already made up on arrival and are very comfortable. The towels were of good quality and plentiful. The bathrooms, especially the en suite, need updating but there was plenty of hot water. The view of the ocean was delightful from the balcony and main living area and master suite - we loved ocean, sunrise watching and spotted dolphins daily. There is easy access to the beach just a short walk away from the elevator and we also enjoyed the indoor pool which is a short walk away in another building, along with the exercise room which is well equipped. The beach is very clean, the area is very quiet. Vacasa staff were very helpful, check in and out was easy. We would love to return.

We've been to Sea Colony a few times. This condo was a nice one (great view). Beds were in good shape (even sofa bed). Kitchen was fine. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Renting through Vacasa was great (sheets and towels are provided). The closet in the garage is locked but we didnt need anything from it (Sea Colony rents chairs/umbrellas). Sea Colony beaches/pools were great.

Great condo. Elevator to 8th floor very quick. View of beach awesome and stores across street very convenient. Fitness center in Edgemont just as good as the larger one at West.

Enjoyed the stay

Family really enjoyed the stay, the unit was as advertised, with great views and amenities. Bonus was the covered parking spot below unit a few steps away from stairs leading to beach, very convenient. Will stay again.
